Seems to be favoritism amongst the teachers and how they treat the students. The discipline actions taken when a kid is bullied is a joke. Seems they don’t know what they are doing a lot of the time. The new superintendent is not very inviting to say the least and my child was holding themselves back because of their frustration towards certain “teachers” and students. The communication with parents seems to be a huge issue as we’ll

Communication is key for successful children. I am able to communicate openly and honestly with the staff and the administration. They give me instant feedback and do their best to solve issues when they arise. 6 of my kids attended Concho, one is in nursing school, one is an EMT and Firefighter. When my youngest was diagnosed Type 1 diabetes, the staff immediately became involved and he now has a great support system at Concho Elementary. Great school!

I believe this school has potential. Yes they do have there problems. But overall they seem to be pretty good. Few of the teachers are rude not many though. I know he 8th grade teacher that left last year was a problem. She retired or left thank god. She had habit of bullying kids that had disabilities and saying things she should not have and inappropriate. I found out after she left by several multiple witness that came to me and virtually said the same things just worded it differently regards on how she treated my child in her class. Just watch your teachers. If you son or daughter is not doing well and did well someplace else something's wrong and it needs to be addressed. Not all the teacher at this school are innocent like they portray. Most of them are good though. It's only couple or a few. If I only knew what was happening I would have acted and I would not have been friendly about it. That's for sure.
