I am a freshman at this highschool and I feel that the educational aspect of it is fine but the religious bias of the school is a real downside. Students should not get let out for religious release at a public school. Public schools are technically government facilities and should be separated from religion like all other government institutions.

St. Johns High School has to be one of the most disfuctional schools I've ever heard of. Although the town is set on their old views, the school should learn to keep religion/views out of the education system as it does not promote a fair learning environment for children with different backgrounds. Im constantly informed how this school lack to take proper action against bullying. A childs not only physical but MENTAL health needs to be a priority for all students to ensure a safe and proper learning environment. This is clearly not the case especially since the lack of professionalism from staff hasnt been corrected. Bullying can come from adults and its very evident that the students here are not treated as equal. Children should NOT have to dread going to school because of a toxic learning environment. This school has failed the educational systems and it's students/parents and it should be ashamed.
