As a 1st grader, I attended Lindbergh the first year it opened in 1991, after being closed for years. I can only remember positive experiences during my time there, and it was all great memories. My 3 kids have attended since Pre K. Lindbergh is very engaging and holds several fun family activities throughout each year that take place outside school hours, that we continue to look forward to that provide learning, free books and keepsakes for the whole family. Not the same staff from the 90s, but lots of tenured staff and principal Mrs T has remained committed to and accountable of the school for years, overseeing amazing staff. Lindbergh has always been supportive of my children's needs, particularly with my child that was very difficult. I never felt he was treated unfairly or judged and appreciated the advocacy provided by all staff involved (Mrs D was a saint!). secretary, Ms B facilitates all admin and non classroom stuff, and really stays on top of of everything . She's incredible! The Librarian Mrs F has been there years, and works hard at keeping the library full, holds book fairs, along with several other contributions to the school. Kindergarten teacher Mr H Is awesome. I made sure all my kids had him, because of his teaching style, tolerance and ability to provide a space that was not intimidating. My kids transitioned to K smoothly. Mrs T in 1st grade has the best skillset and resources to introduce children to reading and I absolutely loved the environment in her room. She took a unique approach to teaching. Only downside is the third grade 'dynamic duo' (Mr G & Ms B) left before my last child had a chance to have them. They were top notch!, and Mrs H in 5th grade will soon be retiring before he's in 5th. Shes is a absolute gem, and the most compassionate educator I've met. It happens, and it's not negative, just a bummer. I can't think of a concern, or time that was never heard, and acted upon accordingly. I know this is long, but this is a honest opinion of a school that I have willingly sent my children, and been involved with for over well over a decade in total, even though the scores aren't perfect. I could have tried the lottery, but trust my kids are safe and know staff genuinely cares. people fail to realize that parent engagement goes a long way and kids do best with involved parents. I guarantee if more parents remained consistently involved, students would thrive and scores would increase! We'll miss L.E.S when that time comes!

lindergh is one of the greatest schools that I could of ever sent my children to..my daughter suffers from adhd, tics, mood swings and a genetic brain disorder she has attended 4 other schools before I found out about Lindbergh the teachers are awesome and they work with my daughter even when she is difficult at times which I know she is and I now send my son as well which he was kicked out of another pre k school because he is autistic and and has behavirol issues and melt downs and they help him they work with there students and I don't have one complaint they keep me updated and let me be involved as much as possible..they may not be the highest in financial funds but to me as long as they have teachers and staff that love the children they work with and treat them as family then who needs all the funds as other schools do this shows they don't need thousands of dollars to help kids all they need which they have is teacher and staff willing to work with the children ..

Lindbergh has to be the worst school I have seen. The principal is a joke for starters and cares more about having a light on the flag pole then athletic equipment that is severely lacking. They have failed to me the state and government standard year after year. Now they are completely run by the government due to their failure. Coming from Washington state and having my child in one of the best school to one that is failing causes me to fear for his education. If I had another option I would pull my child immediately. Sadly I have no choice at this time. I have placed my child in after school tutoring in hopes that this will help him not to not fall behind. If you have the choice I would recommend sending your children elsewhere.

Hello, My child has been going to Lindbergh Elementary In columbus Ohio for 3 years now. She is in the 3rd grade. When she first started school there I realize that getting lice is bound to happen especially when you are a kid. But my issue is this. Every year for the past 3 yrs my child has gotten lice over 20 times each year. Now I have brought it to the schools attention multiple times and still her 3rd year at this school and she got it agian . Now just this year it makes it the 7th time her getting it. With the economy like it is now me as a parent i don't have the money to keep having to treat my child like this , at this many times a year. Its torcher for a child to have bugs in there hair. I make sure that my child is clean and she is very well taken care of . I don't understand why this school does not do head checks. I'm just really tired of it. I care about my child and it concerns me about other children getting it. This has been an ongoing thing for 3 years and I have yet to get an answer on what this school is trying to do to take care of the problem.

I am a proud parent of 3 wonderful children. All 3 of my children have attended Lindbergh. I fell like the teachers and staff at Lindbergh are our extended family. They keep me very informed on the educational status of my children and their behaviors. I strongly feel that this school had/has a great impact on my childrens education. Currently, I only have 2 children attending and one has moved on the middle school. My oldest still has fond memories of his days at Lindbergh and still remembers the Lindbergh Song. That says alot coming from an 8th grader!! Thanks to all the wonderful Teachers and staff at Lindbergh.
