This worst school ever they don't teach at all iep formation they lack not helping kids at all, they se these kids up for failure

Please don’t send your kid here. This school really shouldn’t exist. There are so very kind ladies that work in this building that are great, but they should find other schools which more resources that help children grow.

Its was trouble. It was good at first and now its going down hill. Ever year their a different teacher or principal, and not to mention one of there staff punch my son in his stomach. Highly upset and disappointed.

The number of bullying incidents this year, (Sep - Early Oct 2016) has been an average of 1.5 incidents a week for each of my children. Ranging from name calling and threats, to a pencil stabbing and cornering them so they could be slapped or punched. Mr.Bracken, the Kindergarten teacher is wonderful about communicating and genuinely tries to stop the incidents. However he has too many students and no support in the form of a teacher aid. 23 5 year olds for one adult are way too many. The "breakfast" constitutes of Poptarts, a fruit, and chocolate milk. Sugar and empty calories as a start of an educational day is a guarantee to set up the students for failure on so many levels. Especially young children who are starting on their path for structured learning! Which helps contribute to the already existent disciplinary problems. My 2nd grader is doing classroom work that doesn't challenge her.Their uniform is incredibly gender binary and normative. Some of the disciplinary practices are rather militant and quite honestly unhealthy and dangerous for children. My biggest issue is with the attitude that the Principalmhas had every time the incidents have been brought to his attention. It's comes across as if having an involved parent is a burden to him instead of an asset. While I'm sure some other parents have had a wonderful experience at the school, it has not been the case for my family. Sadly for them, I come froma background of Early Childhood Education, which means that the platitudes used will not suffice.The school has great potential and honorable intentions. It does need to improve its practices in order to achieve its potential. Sincerely,A loving Father and a former Early Childhood Educator.

Long hours, and WAY too much Homework leaves my child with very little time to enjoy childhood. The school breaks ( winter, spring) they are sent home with 100 page packets to be completed and returned when break is over. This is just ridiculous! Children should should not come home from school too tired to even eat dinner. They have lost good teachers the past few years, that should be a hint that something is not going right in this school.
