this school sucks so bad, heavy on racism, so many fights every part of the day, they don’t teach at all, this school is not a caring school what so ever and should get closed down.

Subpar conditions. This school is unorganized. The administration is a joke. Children are constantly distracted. There are too many fights. Work is not rigorous, not even for the gifted.

Hi, I'm a junior at shaw. The school is an average high school. It has great academics and sports. I advise you to be involved in many clubs or organizations. Trust me it will make it easier for you to get to know others. I'm apart of the GSA (gay-straight alliance) club. It's a cool club. And I'm apart of the girls varsity soccer team, I play defense and keeper. Truly I play any position.

This is, in fact, a great school. Though it may not be perfect, the staff (including teachers and office workers) truly do care. The teachers want the best out of you and will do everything they can to make sure you're ready for the real world. Also, a quick call-out to reviewer below me. Not all teachers are disorganized. In fact, most of the teachers there are incredibly smart. The ones that are not have a close eye kept on them. In addition, students are no longer sent to lunch at 2 PM. That changed the beginning of the second semester. I highly recommend this school

This school is an unprofessional and an unorganized organization, emails unanswered, assignments lost by teachers, and grades not updated in a subpar database for grading or taking too long for updating. Classrooms are over crowded and majority of the teachers are only present for a paycheck to pay their cellphone bill which they are constantly on during operation hours. Students are not sent to lunch until 2:00 in the afternoon. There is no patience for students by the administration and teachers. Do not send your child to this school.

Alrigh now SHAW is one of the best schools there is !! i have alot if school pride at this school! students supports other students ! and the have great PROgram!! SO YEAH "ITS GREAT TO BE A SHAW RAIDER" SHAW HIGH RAIDER BLACK AND SILVER WE ARE NUMBER ONE WE COME THROUGH WHEN PUT TO THE TEST AND WE ALWAYS BEAT ALL THE TEST SHAW HIGH RAIDER BLACK AND SILVER SHOUT IT TO THE SKY GIVE A CHEER FOR ALL TO HEAR FOR OUR SHAW HIGH! *FOREVER A RAIDER*

I am a teacher at Shaw and have been there for five years. Shaw is a wonderful school and the teachers truly care about the success of their students. Students are encouraged and expected to do their best at Shaw! I am proud to teach at Shaw High School!
