I brought my daughters to this school mid semester because the Christian school they had been attending was not a healthy learning environment. From the moment we started attending this school in 2006 we have loved it. There was no bullying or other negative situations my girls had to deal with and the school administration handled any issues with the parents directly, never in a punitive way to the children. The school allows the parents to do the parenting. My girls thrived in this healthy and happy environment. The education they received, along with learning how to manage their classes and schedules, allowed them to enter college seamlessly and do exceedingly well. I'm happy to say that both of our daughters have college degrees, one with an Aerospace Engineering degree and the other with a Computer Science degree. They both graduated and immediately started working in their fields. They've also continued and advanced in their spiritual lives, which was even more important to us than the outstanding education they received. We love this school so much that we plan for our grandchildren to attend one day, if we are blessed with them!

Its very overpriced for how few days you go, the work is very very easy, the students are often brats and if they aren't they will be picked on, and kids are left out alot. Sometimes kids have to eat at desks or on the floor. Its quite rare as it only happens on event days like open house.

Four of our five children have graduated from Heritage Academy and are living a life of faith and service, and have done very well in college. Our fifth is following in her siblings' footsteps. It's a great blessing for our family to be a part of a community of like-minded Christian parents that want the best educational opportunity available in Columbia. Thank you Heritage Academy!

Our student has been attending Heritage Academy now for several years. We love the teachers and all the work they put into classes; the University Model of schooling; and being involved in our student's education. We highly recommend this school.

As a teacher at Heritage, I have found it to be full of surprises . . . good ones! Serving in public education, a lot of my energy was spent creating effective tools in classroom management (i.e., discipline). However, teaching here in a University Model School--parents and teachers can expect virtually zero discipline issues. Students truly are "old school," and respect those in authority and appreciate what is going on here. What this tells me, as a teacher, is that I can get to the matter of appealing to student learning and exploring the idea of leading students more effectively, rather than the alternative: primary focus--classroom management. To me, when I think of teaching and teaching at Heritage--I can't help but think: 'THIS is what I signed up for" when I decided to be a teacher. I truly love the students, families, administration, fellow teachers, and board members. I love teaching at Heritage Academy of Columbia, MO!

As a recent graduate, I have grown to appreciate my education at Heritage. I learned a wide set of skills that have allowed me to succeed at the college level. Students at the school attend primarily Christian colleges after graduating, but also attend large state universities and various out of state universities - private and public.

I've been a part of the Administrative team for only three months and I'm quite impressed with the quality of education at Heritage Academy. The teachers are passionate about what they teach and show genuine interest in the students. The students are respectful and interested in learning.
