Christian Chapel used to have a good reputation. The current administrator is more concerned about keeping up appearances that doing the right thing, looking out for the students' best interest, and cooperating with the parents. She would rather call family services over a perceived problem than ask for clarification, or bother to get the full story before making a snap decision and punishing a student. The teachers here are good at their jobs; it's the leadership that is lacking. Also, they charge a ridiculous amount for tuition considering they use a home school curriculum that cost $500 per student. Total ripoff.

My daughter was severely bullied by a student and the school did - what I felt - was not enough. Any time I expressed concerns for my child’s safety, I was told that “what I’m not seeing is the improvement that this kid has made since the beginning of the year. I’m only hearing the negative things that my child is telling me”. My child was choked, and all the bully had to do was spend his next recess writing an apology letter. My child was told that the bully “was going to kill her mom” (they were playing a game, so he was threatening to kill another student who was pretending to be my child’s mom) and he was back at school two days later. My child would sit in the car at drop off in the mornings in tears, terrified to go to school. I had to tell her that she was going to be okay with zero idea, if that was actually true or not because I wasn’t sure if the school was prioritizing her safety or it’s pocketbooks. He was threatening to shoot kids, choking kids, pulling their hair, and just being a bully. I was being told “that he was making progress” despite the fact that in November of 2023 my child told me that this specific kid had choked out another kid. Luckily, in this incident, my child was not involved. However, my child was tackled, choked, and held to the ground in March of 2024 - this was supposed to be the “progress” that he had made throughout the year. This was the “progress” that was supposed to make me feel safe sending my child to school every day.My child is now in counseling. She was making up excuses to not go to school, causing delays in the morning that would knowingly make us late when she had plenty of time to do everything beforehand. Luckily, my daughter is still the goofy, outgoing, and charismatic little ray of sunshine that she is, but she’s just been dulled because of this experience, and I feel like it’s being swept under a rug and no parent should ever feel that way at all. My daughter was taught to love God and forgive everyone, no matter what, that is what this school taught her and while I love the kindness behind this intention, I am trying to raise my daughter to put herself first. I am trying to raise a resilient, brave, and strong woman - which in many ways she already is, but they’ve held her back by making her feel like she has to put others first and forgive everyone. That’s what this school has done to our family.

Second child attended K4 program in 2016-17. This school year has been disappointing compared to 2014-15. Lots of changes, poor communication, and some really rude staff members.

We have two children enrolled in Christian Chapel Academy and have been very pleased with our experience. The teachers and staff have a genuine desire to see the children learn and grow academically, socially and spiritually. We highly recommend CCA!

I love CCA because of their devotion to the educational and spiritual growth of their students! My daughter's self-confidence as a student and as a follower of Christ has grown immensely since becoming a learner at CCA!

CCA has the biblical foundation and stellar academic curriculum that we wanted for our children. The staff is wonderful, and they work hard at teaching and keeping strong relationships with families.

My kids have attended Christian Chapel Academy for 6 years. We have faced a few learning challenges. The teachers were caring and fair when working with us. The smaller class size has allowed for an individualized approach for some of our issues by the teachers. I have been comfortable in approaching staff with issues I have noted with either child. The network of friends I have with other parents makes for a "small town feel" in many ways. It has been great to have a community in the ever growing city of Columbia. We love CCA

It is wonderful to partner with the teachers and staff in this Christian school! The families are very involved and support the children in their day-to-day learning. Best of all they get to pray and welcome Jesus in everything from Math to Art!

We love CCA! Our son's confidence has soared since enrolling. He's being exposed to challenging and balanced curriculum and he's learning so much under the care of competent professionals. We highly recommend CCA to fellow parents in Columbia.

We moved to Columbia nearly 6 years ago never having had our kids in private school. When faced with the decision to pay for our kids education or choose public school, we chose CCA because we felt that it reinforced the values and worldview we are trying to instill in our children. We have never regretted making the investment. We love the community of friends, families and teachers.We asked our kids why they love Christian Chapel Academy and here’s what they said:R - 1st grade- They have fun stuff to do and…that’s all….like PE and recess.K- 5th grade - I love the great teachers and that we can pray everyday.M - 8th grade - I love the class sizes and my volleyball team.It’s been a great fit for our family.

I choose CCA because I want to learn more about God and Christlikeness. I thank my parents that they could afford the payment of CCA. I love spending time with God and pray when I need help or I'm sad. I am so grateful that we have a small class this year. The reason I'm glad that there is a small class this year is that when I need help I don't have to wait a long time for her to come. I thank God that I get to learn about God.

I chose CCA as my kids' school for several reasons. I love the small class sizes and family atmosphere. I like knowing the parents of all their classmates. Plus they get more individual attention with their teachers. But best of all, my kids are learning about Christ's plan for them everyday and growing in their faith. Priceless!#ilovecca

I love CCA. My daughter has attended since she was four and is growing so fast academically. It is amazing to watch her and what is she learning at CCA. I love the small class sizes and the ability to speak with her teachers anytime I need to...they are always there and great to provide updates to me regarding her educational growth. Amazing school, amazing teachers, amazing spirit in God's faith.

My daughter LOVES this school…and so do I. The teachers are wonderful and she is learning so much. She has grown in character and in her faith. The support staff is always so helpful and welcoming….and the families…well they have become friends. The class sizes are small so there is always time for individual attention….no student is EVER left behind. They are led with kind, gentle, and caring hands in a safe environment.

I cannot say enough good things about this school! We absolutely love it. I think what sets this school apart from others is how much the teachers, principal and staff truly care. My son has learned more in his few months at CCA than he learned in 2 years at other schools. In addition to a great curriculum for learning, I also love the focus on character and being a good person. If you are considering the school I would highly recommend calling and getting a tour. We will be sending our 2nd child to this school starting next year as well.

This is our first year as a CCA family. My husband and I made the decision to place our 4 year old twins in K4 and move our other 3 children to CCA from public school and it has been one of the best decisions we have made! In only the few short months we have been there, I have seen my children grow academically, spiritually, and socially. The teachers, principal, and staff are amazing! The middle school math teacher volunteered to take time out of her summer to tutor my middle school children to assure they would have the smoothest transition possible. The love and dedication they show to each and every child at CCA is overwhelming! The other CCA families have gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome. CCA truely has been one of Gods greatest gifts to our family!

Christian Chapel Academy offers a tremendous environment in which the best is drawn out of each and every student. Our daughter was struggling in the public school system and began attending CCA for the first time this year and now she is really tapping into her potential. She truly loves going to school and is somewhat disheartened on the weekends because there is no school. From the very first time my wife visited the school last year, she could tell it was a nurturing environment and that it was going to be the very best place for our daughter. Then my daughter even got the chance to sit in one day last year to see what she thought and she was hooked immediately. It is the kind of school that you can feel the difference that quick, and we have not been let down since. I highly recommend CCA for anyone who is looking for excellence in education in a loving environment that will bring out the best in their child.
