We have had kids at King for 8 years now! It is a gem of a school - a real hidden treasure in D11. We have fantastic teachers, warm and inviting environment and a wonderful atmosphere for kids to thrive. We have been fortunate to go to this school for so many years- we recommend it to all!

The teachers, office staff and new principal at King are all amazing. I really feel like they work hard to make school a nurturing, safe place for my kids. The PTA is also amazing! My kids have so many wonderful opportunities at this school.

We have been very pleased so far with how supportive the teachers and staff at King have been with our 2nd grader who is new to the school and struggles with social anxiety. The atmosphere at the school is positive and welcoming.

All staff are very engaged. Multiple instances of great communication, and caring about students on an individual basis. Knowing my kids’ names- maybe silly- but has been one of the things that gave me warm feelings from the very beginning.

We have had 3 King Elementary students that love King. My 6th grader wishes she could go back and my 4th graders love it! The administration, front office, and teaching staff is amazing! All schools are only as successful as the families supporting the education at home and King helps foster this in every way. Everyone should get to go to a school like King.

King Elementary is the greatest school i could ever send my son to. Last year he was at globe elementary and they would've even give him the help that he needed and was treated horribly. Now that he's at king elementary and they have been nothing but supportive, loving, caring, and the teachers and staff are all amazing.... I would highly recommend for you to have your child/children with them. They will be in very good hands

My children enjoy going to school here everyday, they feel engaged by the teachers and staff. The volunteer opportunities are awesome and the events the school puts together are awesome! This is definitely a place you want to give a chance to wow you!

My daughter absolutely loves King! She loves her teachers and their classroom is full of such awesome kids. I love the class dojo app & receiving updates and pictures from class & I have confidence in the educators to keep our children safe. I was so anxious for my girls first experience, but it’s been the best possible outcome & we’re excited for next year!!

Love the smaller feel of this school, my children are known by all of the teachers and I feel the teachers really care, the communication has been great and family involvement is always appreciated.

My kids feel safe here, physically and emotionally. I’ve been so impressed with the preschool. My kiddo really gets to play and build his curiosity with a consistently awe-inspiring teacher. In the lower elementary grades I’ve seen my child start to read and make great gains in understanding math. I couldn’t be more proud and thankful to partner with his teachers. Teachers give clear ways to enrich learning at home. The Principal is organized and knows my kids by name. I’m a happy mom.

My kids thrived in this school. Whether it was preschool, kindergarten, or 5th grade.

Love this school staff is great - They are all caring .This school is small, but that is it's charm. It is not about the flash. It's not a new school with all the flash it is about the heart of the teachers and the parents.

King Elementary is a terrific school! My daughter attended Preschool and Kindergarren here and her teachers were two of the best I have ever seen. Her kindergarten teacher was exceptional. We moved to Denver which is the ONLY reason she is not still attending King. The staff goes above and beyond and the principal is wonderful. We miss it very much! I highly recommend this school to anyone!

I have an A student and a D student. Both get treated fairly. The school has stepped up to give my D student the tutoring that is needed. They give me up date and suggestions on how to help my student. I would recommend King elementary to anyone. They rock!!!!!!

I've had good experiences so far and some very bad ones too. I'll start with the bad. My child is in Kindergarten this year and they sometimes get treated differently than all the classmates. My child's teacher doesn't seem to always enjoy their job. I watch the other teachers and their so into their students - watching them play, interacting, hugging, etc. My child's teacher doesn't do any of that and I've even seen the teacher yell at the kids. The teacher has a bad attitude anytime you bring up a concern. The Principal at this school is okay, she seems very nice. But it sometimes seems like they get some sick pleasure out of punishing children. My child was left out of a lot of activities, recess, etc just because of little FIVE YEAR OLD actions. They have too many rules and it is hard to keep track of all of them. The rest of the staff is very kind, energetic. I guess my only concern about the staff is the people in the office. I've heard one of the staff call a child a psycho after he left the office - right in front of me and a couple other parents. This school is okay...I'd pick a different one though...
