In our experience, the staff at Grant go above and beyond to make students feel known and cared for. They are keenly aware of the specific challenges their students are dealing with, both at home and at school, and they focus on making sure kids have their needs met so they are able to learn to the best of their abilities. Grant is about progress over perfection. One of my children struggles with reading and every one of her teachers has worked in a unique way to support her learning, so she has never felt ashamed or left behind. We are thrilled that Grant has the resources and heart to make this possible.The teachers at Grant are collectively authentic and caring. The school culture is very welcoming; families are invited to volunteer and visit but not inundated with special spirit days, projects, requests, snacks to send, etc.

My children as well as myself love Grant so much. The activities, the teachers, even the school work. This school treats the students and parents like family. It takes a tribe to raise a child and they truly put all effort in to each and every student. The principal is always engaged with the children.

Staff is full of committed and caring professionals who consistently go out of their way to help students succeed. Grant offers plenty of extra-curricular activities such as after school sports, music programs, clubs, and organizations. The principal is fair and holds everyone, staff, students, and parents, to high expectations. A hidden gem not only in the community, but in District 11 as a whole.

The Grant culture is warm and friendly where the staff seems like a family. The principal is welcoming. The students are offered music, band or orchestra, P.E. and Art along with some after school activities. The entire staff is involved in teaching the kids.
