This school is horrible I had all my kids there kindergarten to 8 grade . Teachers are rude principals don’t know how to conduct themselves. They don’t have many kids in the class room my daughter would tell me the teacher would be on her phone texting while teaching the class . No help if your child is struggling with math at all on top of that the teaching is not teaching . I would not recommend this school to anyone keep on looking for a better school don’t waste your time here .

The school has sadly changed so drastically in just a matter of a year or even less after the previous principal Sr. Leonarda left. It has not been the same since. The new principal Sr. Alma has no personality at all. There is no more system and everything just seems to kind of just go, she and all the other teachers are just afraid to "upset" both students and parents in fear of losing students and in desperate attempt to enrollment up. Like I said, there is no more system and what is more upsetting is that it is losing its Catholic identity too. So there is really not much difference between this school and the public schools anymore. Everyone just care about fundraising and making money for the church and for the school. The education has lost its standard.

Honestly, I am a student that is graduating this year of 2017 and my overall experience had never been better. From food to curricular activities. I've been at Holy Angels since KIndergarden and the environment always felt safe for me. Everybody is so welcoming and there is no worrying about trying to fit in because everybody hangs out with each other. There are wide ranges of curricular activities such as after school dance on Thursdays or Wednesdays, choir, altar serving, guitar, basketball, volleyball, and flag football. Teachers are always there to help you out and tutoring and a Resource specialist there to lend a hand if you ever feel behind or don't quite understand a concept. Fundraisers are fun thanks to student council and faculty. Favorites include fee dress which helps raise money for one dollar worth of 1 day without uniform following dress code. Hot lunch prices are affordable since it tastes good and includes dessert, choice of drink, and a little snack/dessert. I have accomplished many things and don't think I could've expressed myself and known my strengths and weaknesses if I went to a different school. Holy Angels made my speech presentations way easier and essay writing ready for high school. Art classes taught me many techniques and I've won many art contests ranging from local to state. Speech tournament with other schools, singing responsorial psalms in school masses, readings at church, altar serving, student council, honor roll/ principal list student are some of my accomplishments. They really push you to try your best and in morning broadcast, Sr. Leonarda reminds us to be like Jesus and many other school prayer routines such as stop, pray, and choose. This school community is very close and even alumni come check up after us and stop by to see how's everything is going Maybe come check out our January open house, festivals in the fall and spring, play in December, or stop by and call in for a tour. We have many barbecue sales on church days, crab feasts, and more! This school is definitely a great school to choose for your child to have a fun, safe, educated experience before they graduate for high school. :)

I attended Holy Angels School in Colma all 9 years from Kindergarten to the 8th grade. Attending this school has definitely shaped the person I am today. While attending high school, I thought about how thankful I was to have attended HA for my education. Majority of the people from my 8th grade class went to the same high school & we were all in honors or Advanced Placement classes. HA prepared us for the coursework we encountered in high school. I am also still very close friends with my friends from HA. We don't call each other friends, but instead a family. I also stay in touch with the teachers at HA because they become your life-long mentors.

I would highly recommend this school. I first brought my 1st child here in 1997. The experience I had was so worthwhile, especially since I was struggling as a single parent at the time. I came back again years later with my youngest child because of the staff and the program at Holy Angels. From there teachers, Admin Staff, to all its employees. Just a great school all around.

I would recommend this school for a variety of reasons. I love the way the entire school makes a family feel as part of a community (a family). Many people know each other, the children all greet you in the hallway, everyone is friendly, there is such a spiritual atmosphere here that is very refreshing and heartwarming to see and feel. Also, I very much like the structure of how things happen, the technology and most of all I love the structure that the classroom gives to the children. I have less than a year experience here, and only one teacher, however, this has been the best experience for my children and myself. I also appreciate the extracurricular activities offered, the people that give the classes (dance, pe, spanish, etc.) really care about the children and their progress. I would highly recommend this school.

This is a school that treats your child and your family like their own with the right amount of discipline, understanding, compassion and true fellowship to the catholic belief. This school also thrives on the importance of well presented education and the safety of our children, which is a huge plus. This school has a strong sense of bringing the community and our families together. This school helped me raise my first daugter and now that I had one more, they are doing it again!! I love Holy Angels School!

I will recommend them to enroll their children at Holy Angels School because of the excellent academic curriculum and their Catholic values that my children acquired during their 9 years at the school.

I would tell my friends that I made the right choice in sending my children to Holy Angels School. As a parent it is essential to show my kids stability and find the right school so not to transfer to another school after finding you made the wrong choice because the teacher upsets you or your kids are not safe. HA will love and support you and your children. The principal & teachers are true mentors and nurture that bond and truly partners with parents to success. Even teacher's aides, day care assistant, and the janitor are like family. You don't feel alone with HA School and instead you gain a family. The curriculum at HA is advanced and I'm saying this from my experiences with my daughter who graduated from HA and just started highschool, if your kids graduate from HA your kids transition to high school will be easy. At HA my kids developed their talents I didn't even know they have, thanks to HA. I would tell my friends that I love Holy Angels School and you too will love HA. Come and join our family at HA!
