Best school in the municipal. Works on overall kids development. There are many programs pertaining to kids who are behind and ahead in their studies.

We move here for this school and it has been a great experience. All the Principles and Administration know our daughters they take the time to say hello. They have hosted programs to help understand their programs and plans to help us all be on the same page. Classes are small and interactions with the teachers has been great. Our family loves Crosswind and the staff!

I have 4 kids and two are still at Crosswind. We have been very pleased with how prepared our older kids were when they moved on to middle school. My kids rarely had more than 30 minutes of homework and we have been happy with the teachers. Our biggest reason for choosing Collierville when we moved here in 2015 was for special education services and we were so extremely pleased with the awesome support our child received during elementary school. I can’t imagine a better special Ed experience anywhere! My two kids still at crosswind absolutely love it there!

Communication from the school is pretty bad. They send out fund raising flyers way to late. They held a parent/child event during a time that Chorus was supposed to practice. We got reprimanded for attending the event instead of practice. The teachers have the leave them behind mentally instead of no child left behind. These kids get home too late! By the time they do homework, it is dinner, bath, reading, then bed. No time for being a kid!

We moved into this area specifically for this school and it's lived up to it's amazing reputation. The teachers are incredible, the principal (new) is fantastic (and she had big shoes to fill as the last one was too), and my children are thriving. Couldn't be happier with Crosswind Elementary.

We've had several instances where communication is lacking or poor. They seem to be disorganized at times and not all the staff are on the same page. One person might tell you one thing only to have another staff member tell you something different. I had higher expectations for this school.

Excellent school with gifted teachers. Enrichment available to all students in all grades. Our children have excelled at this school.
