terrible school, don’t recommend going there. teachers are terrible now days and dont care about their students. a girl got beat up. the popular kids get everything, including not getting dress coded, as other ones do not. i saw one girl get dress coded for a bra strap, as the tubetop didnt. school is absolutely sexist, my daughter got thrown rocks at and the teacher said she would talk to them (boys). the teacher never talked to the boys who did it.2/10 school.

Fantastic! I have three children and they all have had great experiences in different ways. I am very thankful for our community at this school.

We love Cobb school! My kids have had the best experience with feeling welcomed into this school that has such an amazing sense of community. All the teachers really care about the children and the school. This school offers extras such as: garden, music, art, and physical education, and it even has an after school program. The school itself is a gem, the grounds are beautiful and the kids even get to use hiking trails as part of their physical education. My kids are happy, which makes me happy. Best school ever!

Sadly, Cobb Elementary School has deteriorated because of a lack of professional leadership from the principal. Students are secondary. When parents ask questions, they are treated in a rude manner. Any problems are taken out of context. In the lower grades, there is a bully teacher who scares young students. A group of fourth grade students have been dumped on an aide, with no teaching credential. The aide teaches entire subjects with no supervision. On the playground and in the lunchroom, a lack of supervision, has led to a growing bullying problem. The few outstanding teachers will soon be lost in the chaos at Cobb Elementary School. New leadership is desperately needed.

I would have given this school 5 stars if not for the principal and some of the teachers. The principal is very unprofessional in her interaction with parents and their concerns. One of the teachers has a long history of bullying her students who are only in 1st and 2nd grade. So much so that I know of some who have developed panic disorders because of this teacher and many parents have taken their child(ren) out of this school because of it. This school needs a major overhaul starting with the principal and the removal of this particular teacher.

Great teachers for the most part, fantastic office staff, beautiful location, a lot of parental involvement. Very much worth driving 30 miles twice a day because I wouldn't subject my kids to our local school. Highly recommended.

Had high expectations for this beautiful school in beautiful Cobb Mountain. Unfortunately is run like a military school with the teachers being overly strict to the point of bullying and nothing is done about it despite parents complaints. Very very disappointing..

Cobb Mountain Elementary School. This school provides a caring and healthful environment in addition to an excellent teaching staff. The staff nurtures the whole child by providing music, art, and healthy dietary and exercise habits along with adcademic curriculum.

This is a fabulous school! Both of my children attend here, and have had wonderful experiences! The school offers so much in terms of academics, character building, and opportunities beyond the classroom. There is pottery, art, a community garden, and hiking trails! The parents are very involved. This school is like a private school with only 180 students, without the high cost! I highly recommend it!
