I am so happy to have my daughter attend Tarpey. We moved from a different school district and since the move my daughters grades have improved. Our overall experience with the administration and teachers have been awesome. They all really care about the children and my daughter loves to go to school here. I appreciate all the staff!

I have two children that attend this school. My children recently came into this school from another district. One of my children has been struggling with the change. He has got into some quarrels on lunch recess and breaks. He has pretty good grades but is falling short in a couple of areas. The school has done NOTHING to help him from his quarrels on the playground to his academics. I have met with the principal and even spoke to my sons teacher and all I get are excuses, lack of involvement, and lack of empathy. I feel like they try to pacify situations and do not care. For discipline all they do is suspend, suspend, and suspend. They even recommended my son for alternative ed? I made recommendations to the principal to help my son and he told me basically that my son has to learn to conform to the school standards. The denied me an IEP evaluation. This school "makes" it look like they are working with your child, when they are really working against your child. If your child falls short of what they want they basically wash their hands of your child and want to ship them to an alternative education school. I personally feel this school is lacking in so many ways.
