- Submitted by other on April 14, 2014Clio High School is an average school. This schools academic program is set up in the most simplistic form possible. Yet most students here will still fail class after class. So in attempt to fix the clio made Freshman Academy and with it Link Crew. Freshman Academy is supposed to help freshman, when they enter the High School from the Middle School. Link crew is a group of upper class-men who are supposed to mentor the Freshman. All Freshman Academy has done is help there self confidence. I didn't know that being able to skip an entire day of school for fun games in the gym was helpful in a academic view point. Even link crew members emit that the entire program dosnt help. In all this school has low test scores, low grades, and in all unwilling students. But there are a select few students that are actually thriving in this system. Since the system is already easy anyone who can do basic math and other subjects will ultimately pass without any real struggle.
