Wesley Christian Academy may have an abundance of preschool classes, but they lack the necessary K-8 classrooms to meet demand. If you’re looking for a school that provides continuity in your child’s education, this isn’t it. Many families find themselves scrambling for alternative schools once their child ages out of preschool due to the limited spots in higher grades.Additionally, the school appears to prioritize expansion over quality. Many of the teachers are inexperienced, with little to no years of teaching under their belt, and these teachers often lack the support they need to effectively manage their classrooms. This results in a noticeable lack of structure, consistency, and strong leadership. Overall, if you’re looking for a well-rounded, stable educational environment where your child can grow and thrive long-term, Wesley Christian Academy falls short.

I’ve been in the school for a while now. Our experience has been positive the last 3 year. I’ve had a positive experience with most of the teachers except for one . I had an issue with one of the teachers and I did not like how the situation was handled as a paying parent no teacher should EVER yell at a parent or student just because they were having a bad day. Not happy how it was handled at all. Before that we have been very happy with the school.

My daughter was homeschooled up until fourth grade when we decided to enroll her at WCA. We couldn't have been happier. She has continued to grow academically on a similar trajectory as when we were homeschooling her, but now benefits from the community the school provides. In addition, she has many other quality adult role models who are not just teachers, but individuals that are investing into her life not only academically, but spiritually as well. No school is perfect as there are always ways to improve and strengthen the overall program, but I love that WCA is doing that--always looking to do better as a school and not content to simply maintain the status quo. We only regret that the school only runs through eighth grade. It would be our desire to be associated with WCA through her high school years. We pray that dream may become a reality in the next few years. It is telling that our daughter loves the school so much that she has voiced the same desire. She would like to go to high school at WCA if it becomes a possibility.

What an incredible experience we've had at Wesley. I can't say enough good here. From the teachers who put so much care into all they do, to the lasting friendships my kids have enjoyed creating, all the way down to the lesson plans that have lead them each, in thier respective age groups, to a greater understanding of God's hand in all creation. The personal small school touch makes all the difference here.Wesley has proven to be well accredited and competent in all areas of education for our K-8th students! Our family is proud to call Wesley Christian Academy home.

Truly excellent school environment that helps your children grow socially, academically, and spiritually. Your child will not be a number at WCA but rather a valuable individual who is known and loved by every member of the staff and faculty. Students are met at their academic level and challenged appropriately so they can thrive. We love that foreign language (Spanish) is offered from pre-k on. Administration really cares. For example, when the school increased in size, they worked to better accommodate more families more efficiently (and safely) during car line. The staff listens to parent feedback and responds appropriately and timely; they are alway looking to improve and do a great job of communicating new policies. Truly we cannot say enough good things about WCA. It has been a blessing for our family.

My kids have been at WCA for 5 years now and we feel truly blessed to have found a school like this. The teachers truly care about the students and because it's a smaller school, most all of the staff knows my kids by name.

It has been an absolute blessing to have our son attend this school since he was two years old. As a first grader now, we can honestly say that this school has played a huge part in shaping him into a kind, respectful, and confident young boy. The teachers here are nothing short of amazing – their care and commitment to each student’s success are evident in every interaction. They go above and beyond to make sure every child feels loved, valued, and supported, both academically and spiritually. The school environment is nurturing and warm, and it's clear that every staff member is dedicated to instilling a strong foundation of faith and character. Our son has grown so much here, not just in his academic abilities, but in his understanding of love, kindness, and the teachings of Christ. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to guide him in these formative years, and we feel incredibly blessed to be part of this community. We are excited to see him continue to thrive in such a caring and enriching environment. Highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a nurturing Christian education!

My daughter has been at WCA since she was in their Pre-K2 program. She’s 9 now, and absolutely loves this place. She’s excited to go and learn something new every day. She feels loved and encouraged by her teachers and the entire staff. Communication with teachers and administration is easy through the ParentSquare platform. Her teachers have always done a great job keeping us informed and up-to-date with what’s happening in class, or if there are any concerns we need to be aware of.
