This was a very good school! the staff was great the students were great, the teaching was great, may I saw more?This school was like a wave of nostolgia seeing this school. I used to go here, but I had to move so now I go to a bad school, but this was a very good school The teachers are pretty good, and they are really nice, not all the students were great, but a lot of them were! especially since I knew most of them from elementary. I really loved P.E class and buiesness keyboarding, Shield was ok, Shield was were we got to go to any class for 30 minutes in between 1st and 2nd period. I got a lot of extra help from my teachers since I went early. But This will always be one of my favorite schools and I wish I still went here instead of my trashy new school.

This school is really nice in terms of layout and infrastructure. It’s pretty well-funded. The teachers are average overall. Some of them were really nice, most of them were average, and some were HORRIBLE. If you are a regular student with no behavioral issues, you will do fine here. I can’t speak for the other students though, I’ve never been in their shoes.The workload wasn’t too bad, but it varies from teacher to teacher. There aren’t too many afterschool/extracurricular opportunities, though.Overall a meh experience.

My family and I absolutely love East Ridge Middle School. The administrators have been wonderful. Also, the teachers have been great. I couldn't imagine my kiddos having gone anywhere else.

I would rate this school at a -10 because they don't teach none of these kids respect. How are the staff going to teach respect if they cant even give it. They also aren't teaching students at proper levels. Keep your students and staff together learn some EQULITY, LEARNING and RESPECT skills if you want higher ratings and a TRUE outcome on students. School isn't just about learning. Get it together.

Not a good school for children with any kind of learning disability. My son went here from 6th to 8th grade. He has ADHD and high functioning Autism and was mainstreamed before middle school. He was bullied at this school, IN class, WITH teachers present and nothing was done about it. He was suspended, had detention, got punched in the eye, (defending himself) resulting in a black eye, and was even handcuffed in 7th grade by the school security officer, for telling him to "back off". This school is ill equipped for handling children with any kind of learning or social disorder. It was the hardest 3 years of my life as a mother. Most of the teachers did not follow his IEP, had a lacksidasical attitude and my son was made to be a target. As a result, he was always getting in trouble. Spare yourself the heartache, do not send your special needs child to this school.

I "HATE" this school, beautiful exterior, horrible people working inside, this school constantly harassed my son just to have reason to suspend him, until they finally found reason to expel him altogether, they told me the final straw was him running in the hallway, which they suspended him for 10 days then turned around and expelled him, now my son is forced to go to an alternative school where he came home after the first day in fear of his own safety, something needs to be done about this school, the things that go on in this school should be illegal, now my younger son who was attending this school until today , no even a week after they expelled my older son, they started working on the younger one, I withdrew him today because now they are trying to do the same thing to my younger son, I got a call home today saying that the were going to write him up for something that occurred over a month ago, so he came home with 3 referrals, for 3 different past occasions I refuse to let this school destroy my child, like I said I hate this school, I hate most of the teachers, instead of building up a child they rather tear them down and put them out just to keep their "A" rating, they are definitely not in this business for the kids, I only gave them one star because that's the least I could rate them, but they don't even deserve that, and I will be contacting the school board in the morning.

I really love East Ridge Middle, after having my children relocated a few times. I could honestly say East Ridge Middle really gives the best dedication in being really part of the student's academic progress. Every time I visit East Ridge, I sense everyone works together very supportably and are very friendly. The other schools I had my kids in, I felt the tension due to the economy, the disconnection from the staffs and the teachers felt obligated to be there but really didn't care or really want to teach. I really have to say how happy it makes me, to see my children look forward going back to school especially, my kids thanked me for finding them a very good school. I really feel very comfortable and the safety my children being there, East Ridge is like a "school sweet school". Thank you East Ridge Middle the progress and dedication to our kids!

My son is very happy here. I'm only disappointed with the lack of communication with teachers, and guidance counselor. I emailed the guidance several times towards the end of last year, even included the principle and never received a return email. I had to show up to the school to be able to meet with the guidance counselor. After sitting down with her for about 15 minutes, because she was in a rush, my son's scheduled was a complete mess last week when we went for schedule pick up day. I'm still waiting for a phone call to discuss his schedule and have not received one. My son's classes are in limbo as of today.
