Most staff are great, the principal on the other hand is the worst principal that school has ever had. She won’t solve any bullying issues or any other issue a student has. Recently my cousin and my own sibling had gotten injured in this school and they did not want to let us review the camera footage of how they got injured saying it was due to “privacy violation”. Though the FERPA allows to. This school is alright, the principal is not. I do not recommend this school solely because if your child encounters any problems and a parent decides to confront the principal about it, she won’t help at all.

New administration is fantastic!! Mrs. Mavres has made such a difference in the school. Grades and test scores are going up, behavior issues have dropped DRASTICALLY!

Very unorganized, administrators giving misinformation or incorrect information.

High Point has the best staff I've ever worked with and the most resources I've been blessed to have. Support is GREAT!

Great school they offer a number of programs that excite the kids like STEM. Teachers communicate well with parents, and they offer programs to make sure your child does not fall behind. My kids loved it. Unfortunately had to move back to GA. Otherwise they would still be there. My kids went there for three years. Ms. Haijian and Ms. Warner are awesome! Request them if your child is going to 4th-Haijian and 1st for Ms. Warner.

This school has removed several programs such as EBD and Dual Language. Which is mostly needed for this neighborhood. More than 15 members were fired, while FCAT scores are so low that those children that had a good score has to move to another school in order to improve their academics. Parents shouldn't have to pay the price to relocate their children to receive a better education.

Newer building, pleasant and very welcoming faculty/teachers, great supervision, safety is obviously something they are taking seriously.
