The teachers in this school actually have control of their classroom and tge learning environment is a safe and respectful one. They take time with their students and hold tgem accountable for their behavior. They also strive to make learning fun. Happy we chose this area to move to. This school should not be judged by the typical mcpss nonsense

I am a student at lott middle school........I love lott. Its the best school ever. Band is great and Mr.clements the band director is amazing. Hes the best teacher anyone could ever have. Mr.Echols is fun and cool too. If i ever moved away from lott i would bawl my eyes out. The teachers can really connect with the students there. So if you are looking for a new school.Believe me.. Lot is the best school ever. It makes me so happy to be apart of an amazing school like. I attend lott and know that i love lott and the people in it. Thanks for your time.

lott middle school has the best band program around.If you want to see their concert, there is a christmas concert that you should really check out. :)

I have one son that currently attends this school and one that thank goodness is in high school, I have requested that my child that is still at this school be transfered from one class and told there is not any room anywhere eles. My son has been called names by One teacher and excusses have been made that " this teacher has had a few health problems" not sure how that is my childs problem ? if these teachers have personal issues they need to learn to leave them at home not take there stress out on our chlidren, My child is A B honoral and is treated like an "IDIOT" . I was taught you have to give respect to resecieve RESPECT some of the teachers at this school need to have a refresher course in RESPECT our kids are human and shouldnt be talked down to like they arent. WE NEED TEACHERS WHO WANT TO TEACH and care about the emotional well being of our children. WORDS HURT AND STAY WITH OUR KIDS FOR A LONG TIME, try useing posative reinforcement instead making our kids loose self confidence. If there was another school close I would transfer my children today!
