If you cannot handle an excessive amount of homework and quizzes/tests, this is not the school for you. During my years at St. Gabriel, especially junior high, I was constantly stressed and overwhelmed by the workload that was given to us. I barely had time to take care of basic hygiene like brushing my teeth, showering, changing clothes etc. My mental health was horrible due to the pressure to finish homework and study for multiple tests in a short period of time. There have also been multiple occurrences of bullying that teachers do nothing about. Overall, I would not recommend St. Gabriel.

We had a couple of teachers who were wonderful - a good combination of structured and nurturing - but we had a few who were unprofessional/unkind. The school is not equipped to handle students with special needs or learning disabilities. The teachers lack training in supporting children with disabilities. If your child is of average ability they will do fine. The staff in general prefers to be strict just for strictness' sake - not actually teaching students personal responsibility. The religious education is on par for modern Catholic schools.

Most of the teachers are great but there are several bad apples. There’s a lot of turnover with teachers and administrators. They are on their third principal in 5 years. The facility is charming but needs updating. The building doesn’t have ac so it’s stifling inside, especially on the 3rd floor. There isn’t a gym for pe or sports.

We have had the most positive experiences at this school. Our children thrive as a result of the faith-based environment, curriculum, teachers & staff. A hidden gem in the area!

St. Gabriel School is one of the best small schools in the Cincinnati area. The staff members are very caring and work hard to educate their students. Everyone is friendly and when students leave they are ready to undertake the challenge of high school.

I have finished my years at Saint Gabriel and am now at Roger Bacon, both me and my sister dealt with a great amount of bullying from peers. We both have gone to the teachers, and principal, but nothing ever was done. Teachers were racist, and rude, and even if some education was good, it left me damaged. There are no clubs, barely any sports, art only has a class a week, and not much else to provide.

Both of my children attended St Gabriel for 9 years. They went on to perform very well at Moeller and MND and now at Xavier University. This is a great school to prepare your child for what lies ahead and to help them grow into young Christian men and women.

My daughter goes to Saint Gabriel School, they have quality education and a safe enviroment, children learn to love each other and help the people in need. I really recommend this school to everyone.
