The school and staff are incredible. I don’t think the current ratings reflect the value of the school.

As with other reviews- bullying is a PROBLEM at this school. It is not addressed, but rather "discussed" with both or all students. All parties are "talked to" and not disciplined. My daughter has experienced this both this year and last. Now, as a result of bullying and lack of attention to it- there have been days where she's been physically ill from the anxiety facing going to school- BUT WAIT! The test scores! Those are MOST important!! Those score goals have to be met! Why? M O N E Y. We are not returning next year and have instead chose private schooling for the rest of our daughter's education.

After multiple incidents of the school staff and other children bullying my husband’s son, I started talking with other parents at Springdale elementary.I find it interesting guys.I now have 4 separate children all with ADHD, Asperbergers, Autism, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, etc. all reporting bullying at Springdale elementary by not only other students but also the staff. This is a violation of ADA law. Springdale Elementary, you have a lot to answer for.I am not the biological mother of one of these children so I personally can’t do anything but I’m of the mind to encourage these parents to take legal action against the school.Lisa Tenbarge, you should be ashamed of yourself!!!!

My son has been continuously harassed, antagonized and taunted, which is bullying,to the point where he doesn't feel safe in the school environment. My continued requests that these verbal assaults on my son be investigated and stopped have been ignored. Today one of those students taunting my son, the very student I had a conversation with the Principal just 2 weeks ago about, was instrumental in an outburst of emotion by my son during class. My son's mental health, and trust in the school system is at stake, and I have contacted the district to take immediate action taken regarding this matter.

My child was in this school for 2 years of preschool n 4 month for kindergarten, I m so overwhelmed with Mrs Gerbus, his class teacher of kindergarten, she is awesome, she has each day plan what to teach, my child learnt alot . I might not able to feel it, if not changed the school, moved to school of Texas with 9 rating out of 10, and such a casual attitude of every one made me sick. Today I got late to pick him from stop, I called school and they say how do they know, when the bus will be coming back to school or when he ll be in school so that I can pick him. Springdale elementary always take care of kids and their related things. Princeton has separate transport Dept to contact with. I am missing the culture Springdale elementary has...

My son has attended this school since the beginning of the 2013 school year. As a high functioning autistic child, his ability to adapt to a new school was trying. I thought he had a good IEP team and they seemed responsive, but as I have learned at other public schools, these professionals are truly limited in what they can provide for our students due to budgets. Should that be affecting our children? No. But, it is. This is the first school district I have been a part of that does not promote volunteerism; in fact, it is not even advertised as a possibility and all applicants have to have a signed application by the principle in order to go to the district office to get finger printed to volunteer. Math tutors are not provided, only reading tutors; there are too many students to teachers, not enough funds to provide more for the school, and those volunteers that could help turn the school around are discouraged to volunteer. Our 2nd year at this school has convinced me that my son will not be attending a Princeton City School next year. I feel this district is on a downward slope if they can't get their services sorted out.
