When we started with the school it was under different administration which was incredible. The principal was extremely engaged and enthusiastic, he was easily accessible and addressed all issues immediately. Since the administration changes I don't see that the school is being driven forward, there doesn't seem to be school wide growth. The new principal is behind the scenes and doesn't seem to want to be involved in behavior issues. There have been multiple behavioral issues that the principal did not provide the teacher support with leading the teacher to leave mid year. Since the change in administration the test scores have dropped, there is less access to after school help which I'm sure is leading to the drop in testing scores. They don't offer a PTO because no one wants to take on the responsibility to get it started. All events have been subpar and many have been cut. Last year they had a beautiful veterans day event that showcased students loved ones and allowed all parents to participate this year they only invited the veteran and a care taker if needed. It seems to be out of laziness and the entire school atmosphere is shifting because of it. It's disappointing to see that a school with excellent teachers and so much potential for growth is not being pushed to grow and expand more.
