I have always experienced nothing but the best from this school. The staff are genuine and are completely invested in the students.

I have gone to Cascade for 13 years now and the school has not changed one bit. The building is very old and is falling apart. We are very overcrowded. It is hard to walk in the halls to get to class on time. There are about 14 total classes outside in portables. There is no room here, and not one thing has been done to fix it. Also, the teachers are not good at teaching. I feel like I learn nothing. They never seem like they want to help us which makes you not even want to learn. The principal is the only one who does his job it seems like, but he cannot do it all by himself.

As a student at Cascade, there isn't a single thing like about it. Some of the teachers are okay but most just skim through things and don't explain things well enough, which leads to failed tests and crazy amount of crippling stress. I feel like there's only 2 teachers that are actually good teachers that actually teach. The school lunch is especially disappointing. I normally get the salads, and for 5 days straight I had moldy strawberries and rotten apples. Which obviously tells you they don't check the food before they serve it. I'm literally scared to even eat now because I have no idea how old the food I am eating is. I've been attending Cascade for 13 years and every year it gets worse. I wouldn't send my children to Cascade if it was the last school on Earth.

I am a student and cascade. I do not recommend anyone to send there child here. There are a few teachers that don't teacher or choses to give there students class work and not even go over the material. Cascade use to be a pretty good school back in 2007 but since then we lost a majority of the good teachers. We have lost over 27 teachers since then due to new boss. The principal is really nice but sometimes doesn't make the right decision. The board is useless. They don't evaluate the teachers that need to be. How are they going to control a school they don't even send their own children to! Anyway cascade has grown a lot since 1970s so that means we need a bigger school. Im going to graduate in 2 years so by the time they get finish with it im either going to be a senior or graduate. All the public schools in bedford county got a new school or added on to except cascade! Its not safe and fire hazard. The guidance counselor is the best. She tries to help everyone but its hard to help 350+ students. Cascade needs to improve a lot!
