10 out of 10; no complaints. I am happy with the community feel, no cliques, strong academics, strong leadership and several after school activities for all ages.

Small classes do have their benefits. However, it is a great disadvantage socially.

We have been very happy at St. Thecla. My kids love it there. The class sizes are small and there is extra resource help available if needed. The staff and principal are very responsive. There are many activities offered throughout the year. We are very happy with our choice to attend there.

St Thecla is our second family. It has the community and everyone is so close. We went to several open houses before choosing St Thecla. We have been here for over 5 years and couldn’t be happier. They have a phenomenal principal and office staff. The Pastor is nothing but supportive and has a very active role in the school. They truly love the school and you can tell. They teachers are wonderful! Top notch. We have some of the best and they really challenge my kids. They work with them on an individual basis and checks their progress and gives them more difficult work assignments as needed. My son was reading and doing math at a more advanced level. His teacher gave him individual assignments to push him. They do weekly assessments to follow the progress of each student. All the teachers and principal have a great line of communication set up. The theme at a Thecla is “Character Counts”. It couldn’t be any more true. They are so good with bullying. They have an active approach to help keep that away. The school is very inclusive of all students. The sports are run very well also. They have a great athletic council. The parent life is wonderful and there are many ways to get involved or just hang out as a group. They have several events throughout the year for kids, families and parents. The community and family we are a part of at St Thecla is something so valued to me. The Tots program for the little kids is so neat also.

Thecla is a wonderful school that has helped my children thrive. The teachers and principal are amazing leaders and not only help children thrive academically, but instill strong values and character building. The school also fosters a strong sense of community and inclusion. The smaller class sizes allow for small group instruction and one on one attention that allows the teachers to genuinely connect with students, leading to success across the board. The school also offers a plethora of extracurricular activities to meet the needs and interests of any student- volleyball, band, chess club, art club, basketball, softball, track, football, boy scouts, girl scouts and more. We could not be happier with our choice or prouder to call St. Thecla home!

We have had an excellent experience at St. Thecla. Since we did not grow up in the area we looked at many schools in the area. We picked St. Thecla because of the strong, close community and commitment to providing an excellent education for our children. We made a great decision for our family. Our children are learning and growing in their faith. Through our involvement with the school, we have already made wonderful friends with other families that share strong values. While St. Thecla is a smaller school it is large in purpose, academic excellence, and opportunities for student involvement. The new principal is outstanding and is highly involved in all aspects of the school and St. Thecla community. He greets students every morning as they enter the school and is visible at school events and sports. He is responsive to student's needs and helps teachers provide the best, customized learning environment for students. We highly recommend St. Thecla. Please take a tour of the school and you will quickly see the many benefits of this school and will experience the close community.

My children love St. Thecla and we are very happy with our choice. We have a new principal this year who is doing a great job with communication and keeping the school and teachers up to date with the latest information. My oldest is in high school and St. Thecla did a great job preparing her for high school. We love how much the faculty and staff seem to really care about the students. There's also a great sense of community here. We highly recommend St. Thecla.

AWFUL !Younger grades are fine, once reach 6th, 7th, & 8th the academics drop off and they do not know how to control the kids. If they had enough instruction the children would not have time to get into trouble but instead they are all causing trouble and then getting blamed. The reality is that instruction is not up to par, not even comparable to other schools in the area. I recommend not even starting out here, number of kids is very low, education is not up to par. Very disappointed !

This school has a strong sense of community. The staff know the students well and it feels like a warm welcoming environment. The pastor and staff are open to questions, concerns and feedback. At St. Thecla, I feel like my children are not just being educated, but also truly cared for by the staff and teachers.

Recent changes in the last few years have done wonders to make this an Excellent school! The principal and pastor are nurturing and caring and really put their heart and soul into St. Thecla. Junior high teachers are knowledgeable and challenge the students. Primary teachers are nurturing and my Kindergartener Loves school and Loves learning. He is so proud of all his accomplishments this year. My middle school aged child is constantly challenged with technology, utilizing the Ipad daily. Her teacher utilizes various teaching methodologies to enhance learning with apps, educational games, invention fairs and court reenactments. My oldest graduated and is very successful in high school. He is involved in sports, and made the honor roll despite his learning disability. He overcomes his struggles due in great part to the educational foundation he received at St. Thecla.

Saint Thecla is a great 'family' school. The principal and pastor both work together to build a school community that provides the essentials for a great faith based education. There is such a strong support from the parents in this school as well.

St. Thecla is what Catholic education should be. Strong values. Strong academics. Family focused. Alumni tradition. Preparing our children to be individuals while at the same time preparing them to be high school and college ready, with the test scores as proof. Award winning teachers who are dedicated to their craft and bringing in new ideas and ingenuity to teach the children of today and tomorrow.

I am so proud of St Thecla . Junior high curriculum has challenged my boys. The junior high teachers they hired the last few years have made an incredible academic impact on the students. I am so proud of my son who was accepted into the Notre Dame Hesburgh honors program this year as a freshman. (And he wasn't the only boy offered this honor). I know this accomplishment was done with the guidance and tough academics provided by his teachers at Thecla. Congrats! St Thecla has also worked with son with his disability. He is a junior high student and his grades have improved this year. It's comforting to send my son to a school where I know the principal and staff really care about academic and emotional needs of this students. I always feel so relaxed and welcome at the school events. You can always see the smiles and hear the laughter of Thecla community. Thank you to my Thecla Family.

I have 3 children attending St Thecla and could not be happier. The Principle and Teachers are excellent and there is such a strong sense of community. The Pastor Father Gene is an excellent leader and the parent involvement is incredible. It is a commitment financially to send your kids to Catholic School especially when there are very good public schools in area but worth every penny.
