I've had a great experience with the school. The staff, students, and parents are caring and take time to build a good community.

I wouldn't recommend parents to enroll their children in this school, it's an unhealthy presence, administration and the so-called office manager is a parent's and student's worse nightmare. People may think it was a good school because it represents Catholic, but, is it? This school accepts and enrolls students that other schools don't want; they do this for enrollment and to avoid the school from closing, but, at what costs to those students that really want to learn. Bed Bugs, roaches and rodents in the school. They don't inform parents about this; imagine taking these critters home?!

My daughter was a transfer student from McNair elementary, a failing public school, and she is finally receiving a rigorous curriculum focused on her success. The staff is amazing, the school values are solid, and my daughter is now excited about her education. I am ecstatic! Great investment towards our children and communities future! Jaelynn's Moml

I myself am alumni and now so is my son. St. Malachy continues to be a home away from home. Sending my children there was the best decision I have made regarding their education

...a fantastic place that provides students the foundation needed to excel throughout their lives. The faculty of St. Malachy School continues to ensure students are more than ready for the challenges of high school and beyond. It was there I learned - way back in the 1960's - that I could achieve any goal I set for myself...

This is a wonderful school to attend and work for. The Principals and Staff are to most caring and enthusiastic people I have ever met. The children are educated, happy, and well cared for. You can check out their new website at www.stmalachychicago.com

St. Malachy offers spanish to grades 1-8! I think that it is wonderful for children to be introduced to foreign langue BEFORE highschool!
