This school was truly a life saver for our family. The staff is amazing and so caring. Everyone from the director and principal to teachers, health workers and therapists puts the child's needs first! They allowed my child to regain the confidence stripped of him from our "home" district. They figure out each child, his/her triggers and what works for them individually as coping skills. No one is given a cookie cutter solution. It was a wonderful experience. I soooooo wish they continued through high school!

RDS has been a godsend for our 6 year old with ADHD and sensory issues. The staff is amazing and really does their best to find an individualized approach to each student and the best way to help them learn. I used to dread IEP meetings until working with this staff! The ideas they come up with for accommodations are fantastic. They also have therapy built in to the program, individual, group, and we go in for family therapy. Their occupational therapist is wonderful, too, she has helped so much with finding ways for our son to still be able to fidget and have his sensory needs met while also being able to stay in the classroom and not distract the other students. Seriously, I just can not say enough wonderful things about this place! I know if you’re looking into the school you’re likely going through a rough time, but know that your family will absolutely get what you need if you choose to transfer here.
