We became involved in the parish in 2021 when we moved to the neighborhood and my son started in the full time PK-3 program in the Fall of 2022. Leading up to his enrollment, everyone talked about how wonderful the community was and every parent I spoke to only had incredible things to say about the school. It was all true! The staff, teachers, parents, and parish could not be more welcoming or kind. The PK 3 and 4 teachers have been wonderful, and our son has blossomed and started showing leadership skills / accountability from various classroom activities like weekly “jobs” (greeter, weather patrol, line leader, etc.). We love the anchor buddy program and the cross-grade exposure it creates. We are extremely lucky to be part of such a special school and look forward to sending our youngest there in the Fall. I am proud to be a Saint Clement parent.

St. Clement Catholic School has been a tremendous blessing for my 5th and 7th graders over the past three years. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed into this amazing community. One of the standout aspects of St. Clement's is undoubtedly its incredible community. The sense of togetherness and support within this school is second to none. From the faculty and staff to the parents and fellow students, it truly feels like a family. Being new to Chicago as well as the school, this welcoming atmosphere made the transition into this school seamless for my children, and it has fostered a sense of belonging that is invaluable to their educational journey. One recent highlight that we absolutely love about St. Clement's is the addition of new academic clubs. These clubs provide students with a wide variety of opportunities to explore their passions and interests. These clubs have allowed my 7th grader to further develop his entrepreneurial skills and knowledge beyond the regular curriculum. Not only are these clubs educational, but they also serve as platforms for students to socialize and collaborate with their peers who share similar interests.Another noteworthy aspect of St. Clement's is the great class sizes. With an ideal teacher-to-student ratio, every child receives the individualized attention they need to thrive academically. This personalized approach ensures that no student gets left behind and that each child's unique strengths and weaknesses are addressed effectively. The teachers at St. Clement's truly go above and beyond to ensure that every student is given the support they need to succeed.Overall, our experience at St. Clement Catholic School has been exceptional. It is a place where educational excellence meets genuine care and belonging. We feel incredibly grateful to be a part of this remarkable school and highly recommend it to any parents seeking a school that prioritizes both academic growth and personal development.

This is our first year at St. Clement in Pre-K 4 and it has been an incredible experience for our son and our entire family. The teachers have consistently gone above and beyond for the students, and we are so happy with the academic and social growth our son has experienced this year. We have also been very impressed with the school's leadership, the organization and communication throughout the year, and the way the school lives out its values every day. And the families across all grades have been so welcoming! We are proud to be part of this community!

I am an alumni parent of St. Clement School and my daughter is about to graduate from Saint Ignatius College Prep. I can't say enough good things about how prepared she was for this academically rigorous high school. She was confident and extremely comfortable with public speaking, doing research and writing papers from the start, all due to the preparation she received in middle school at St. Clement. The academics are top notch, but that isn't even the best part of this school. The community of school parents, teachers and parishioners is extremely warm and welcoming. My daughter always felt safe, loved and seen. Being a part of the St. Clement community makes a very big city seem small. I enthusiastically recommend this amazing school!

This is our first year at Saint Clement and we are thrilled to be here. From our first interaction with our Welcome Family (who have kids the same ages as our own kids), we knew we had made the right decision. The community is supportive and engaging, the teachers love our children (and recommend enhancements when applicable!), and the other parents are unbelievably welcoming.

My two children, aged 10 and 12 attend St. Clement School and we could not be happier. It is an engaging community with a wonderful faculty and staff. My son started middle school this year and although challenging he has loved it. This school goes beyond academics to prepare the students for a successful future. The socially well being and development of the child is just as important, great importance is put on meeting each child where they are and helping them grow and develop to reach their full potential. Student are well prepared for success when entering the top high schools when they graduate from St. Clement. My experience has been that the teachers are engaging and available to talk with parents about any concerns or issues that may arise. They also provide a strong support system in the classroom by providing encouragement and extra help when needed. I am amazed at the creativity and effort they incorporate to make learning fun and interesting. The community is warm and welcoming, it's your choice how involved you want to get but I suggest volunteering often as you meet so many wonderful families and feel such a big part of the community as a whole. For our family we wanted a truly warm, loving community that helped our child succeed academically while growing into a kind and caring adult.

We switched our kids here because we were unhappy with the public schools. The Principal is new, and she is on top of everything. The kids' well being is a priority in this school which is nice. Saint Clement School provides the perfect combination of academic excellence in a faith based environment. Saint Clement not only offers a diverse array of academic, artistic and athletic opportunities but they reinforce the values and beliefs we teach at home. Saint Clement prepares the students to be leaders in the community and for high school. Graduates of Saint Clement consistently go on to excel in high school, college and beyond.

This is an outstanding school and parish serving the community of Lincoln Park. Academic instruction and religious education are top rated. The teachers and staff are dedicated and the parents are always available to chip in to help the school and parish. The new pastor has been terrific and connects well with kids and delivers informative and inspiring homilies. The best part, according to my kids, is the rooftop playground!

Five-star. In this survey, there is no mention of additional classes that students receive. However, they are instructed weekly by specialist teachers in Religion, Art, Music, Spanish, STEM/STEAM, Gym, keyboarding, Common Sense Media, and Library. There is a strong sports program. There is a band program. There is a wonderful aftercare program with enrichment opportunities. Students attend all-school mass weekly from grades 1-8, and take turns assisting with mass and singing in the choir loft. The field trips that the students go on are incredible; multiple trips in every grade level. Finally, the community is caring and extremely supportive, with many opportunities to form long term friendships. There is a connection to a very strong and vibrant parish.

St Clement School offers an amazing education and the community is phenomenal. We couldn't be happier! My two children are educated through strong and differentiated curricular programs. The teachers and administration are warm and responsive. Students actively engage with the community through service projects, cultivating their faith and acknowledging their role in improving the community around them. St Clement School is quite simply a wonderful place!

St. Clement continues to upgrade their curriculum exceeding their peers. The teaching and administrative staff are warm and nurture an environment developing children's academic and spiritual education.

I have been a parent of a Saint Clement student for ten years and could not have picked a better place to send my two children. They are loved, nutured and cared for in the best possible way. My very closet friends are parents I have met at the school. My oldest is in 8th grade and is set to have some really outstanding choices in high schools because of the education he has been given at Saint Clement. Our Catholic faith and strong sense of social justice have been woven into the very fabric of all that they do at Saint Clement. Of course I have had my disagreements with a teacher or administrator over the years but my concerns have been heard and attended to in the most professional way. I would definitely recommend Saint Clement School!

I currently have a very happy first grader at Saint Clement school with a pre-schooler on his way. I have been very impressed by Saint Clement school - the academics are strong - the teachers differentiate learning based on students need and there is such a strong feeling of community. I would whole-heartedly recommend Saint Clement School to my friends and family.

My three children have attended St. Clement since pre-K (eldest now in 7th grade) and we have had a fantastic experience with the school and parish. What other reviews haven't mentioned is the meaningful role that the wonderful pastor and assistant pastor play in the kids' lives. The daily instruction in the whole individual, academic and moral, is professional, loving and effective. There have been some spots of problems - no school is perfect - but the problems get handled in an atmosphere were everyone can express their opinions and contribute to the community. The school has a great base of lower school instruction, and the middle school is really a gem. The kids are challenged academically and motivated to rise to it, based on really interesting and dedicated teachers. The kids definitely have fun in their classes, too. Our new principal has elevated everything about the school and continues to focus on areas which can be even better. Finally, the community of families has become our home and filled with our best friends. We could not be happier with our elementary school.

I had serious issues with the management of the school and also high my daughter's issues were handled. With that said I can't complain, my daughter credits the amazing education and teachers for her being prepared for high school and eventually being accepted into amazing colleges. I am glad I kept my serious dislike for the principle and some staff to myself. My daughter raves about this school. I must say I am an odd one and the parents of the students never made me and my daughter feel anything but welcomed. My memories may be iffy but I guess all that matters are my daughter's amazing memories.

I went to St. Clement from first grade on and I just have to say that if someone asked me if I could go back to any elementary school in Chicago I would chose St. Clement, I loved my experience at this school and wouldn't trade it for the world. So to all the people that have been saying that St. Clement does not provide a good education for there children could not be more wrong.

St Clement has a wonderful sense of community and provides a great moral framework for the students. That being said the quality of education especially in math and sciences is weak. The school is primarily interested in making sure that all students are brought to a minimum level. There are no programs oriented toward top students. There is no tracking in science and mathematics. Even the most advanced math students are forced to progress at the level of the average student. The school has refused to track students because of the "psychologic impact it may have on the lesser student." Talented 8th grade students are forced to take drama but have no access to advanced math. There is no science lab. Students are assigned group science projects that are more busy work than educational. St Clement is a very pleasant, kind and nice place. The teachers are very friendly and caring. The education is not in step with the STEM education that is so badly needed to orient children toward careers in the sciences and engineering. For a parent of a bright student who has aptitude in math or science, your child will feel frustrated and unfulfilled in this school.

St Clement School has a weak early education program compared to other good schools in Chicago with relatively inexperienced teachers in preK and throughout early elementary years. Talk to as many people as you can before deciding on this school. Children take a backseat to the school's academic based program. St. Clement's reputation is not what the reality of the school is- lots of stress and ego. St. Clement's School would benefit from walking the talk they present. For example, they had one of the authors of "Raising Cain" come to speak to the parents about raising boys, but they don't adhere to his academic recommendations at school. There is a lot of posturing without substance.
