If your child has an IEP and was assigned to this school, you need to ask whether your child is actually receiving services. They did not have a special needs teacher for the duration my child was there and did not communicate it to parents. Unfortunately, since it operates somewhat independently from CPS, the school system conveniently claims “they had no idea” and scrambles to get special needs kids into summer school to make up for it. The school building was generally cluttered and dirty inside, and it was always difficult to get office staff on the phone. The lead teacher was fine but not great. It wasn’t her fault since they accept special needs kids and dump them on teachers with no support. It is stressful for everyone involved. We were thankfully transferred into a better district.

This school keeps improving. The new assistant principal Mr. Martinez has lots of energy and brings new activities to school. I am glad my kids go to Jungman.

a wild place with no control of kids!the building is old and falling apart the gym is poorly conditioned.the good thing about this school is that the class sizes are small so this makes a teacher's job more easier.
