This is the first year that my child attends St. Pius V School and it has been a great experience. His teacher and staff are nurturing and loving while proving a great structure and guidance. Due to covid I am sure a lot of things changed but St. Pius V school was able to provide an excellent education and great involvement between child and teacher. I am very grateful and impressed at the level of feedback and overall communication with me as a Parent. For working parents like me, the extended school hours were very helpful because I knew my child would be in good hands until I was out off work to pick him up. In St. Pius V School, every teacher, and staff member I met have been beyond amazing. I would definitely recommend St. Pius V School. - Crystal Quinones

My oldest graduated from St. Pius V and was accepted to an elite private high school. My son started Pre-K at St. Pius but had to transfer him out due to a move. He finished off Pre-K and started off Kindergarten in CPS when suddenly the teacher complained daily of behavioral issues. Every day he was in trouble, I'd pick him up and he'd cry, and my son who used to love school was having full blown panic attacks when I'd drop him off. His Kindergarten teacher suggested I have him screened for ADHD. My youngest had been begging to be in school but was too young for CPS. I reached out to St. Pius V and they welcomed my kids back with open arms. I was nervous about my son and explained the situation with CPS and his new teacher assured me he would be fine. Sure enough, my son loved school again and the teacher raved about him daily. She said "Yes, he's fidgety, but no more than I am." The teachers truly care. My son told me he loved his teacher, they made him feel safe and loved. His current teacher praises his behavior, dedication and respectfulness. He is excelling now reading 2 full grade levels above his own. The staff is truly amazing, I couldn't be happier.

I thank God for St. Pius V School! My daughter started Early Education with developmental delays and now she just completed her sophomore year at St. Ignatius receiving Honors with Distinction. I highly recommend St. Pius V School to prepare your child to get into an elite high school and succeed!! All three of my biracial children have created and maintained friendships that are true and will last a lifetime. St. Pius V helped reinforce the moral, ethical and compassionate way to live a productive and giving life. This school has been a Blessing for my family. I have had four children graduate from St. Pius V School and still feel this way about St. Pius V School. I am grateful to now have my 5th child just beginning her journey with the St. Pius V family. The development of well adjusted beautiful human beings and superior academic education has been my experience.

I would give this school an OK this school is lacking money and resources for there students. The school should be open to more diversity as far as Race and Culture goes. My child is Multi Racial it's important to me that she experiences being around other races and cultures. This school needs to be cleaned and updated. The size of one of the Teacher's desk was so small it was ridiculous. When a parent walks into the building where the office is the first thing you notice is the dirty smelly old rug and if and when you pick up a child in the after school program its overcrowded, messy, old and has no structure on top of that some of the workers have a face on them of nothing but pure misery. They don't greet a parent when they walk in or on the way out. Another thing is there is no quality nutritious breakfast or lunch? And my child said she saw a rat?! This school needs to clean up or close down. I attended a private school growing up of the Nuns who were in my school visited this school they would had screamed at how dirty and poorly it's being run. Bring the Nuns back to teach in the private schools they are the best. Period!
