My experience is overall negative. The majority of teachers are decent, although a portion of those are intolerable in their poor teaching methods. The student body is a pestulence the world will unfortunately have to face in the following years due to their intolerance of others, disrespect for authority, and disregard for other people that do not satisfy their pleasurable interests. Furthermore, the education at this school appears as if an afterthought; more emphasis is placed on athletics than on education and a similar sentiment is held by most students.

Good offerings for advanced classes and extra curricular activiities. Many instructors encourage self learning for higher end level classes which promotes higher achievement standards.

I love Matoaca High! I move here at the end of my Sophomore year from Florida and all I can say is that this was a great experience! its nothing like I had back home. The students and faculty are very welcoming and the student population is greatly diverse. The courses set for each student is challenging based upon their needs and what they can handle, however the teachers do like to make it challenging at time to make sure that we are paying attention. all I can Say is that I LOVE IT
