Ettrick Elementary School is such a blessing to our student and the entire community. Every staff member has a heart of gold with true compassion for the children in their care and the families they represent. The beautiful new building has a great design and was well thought out. Teachers at Ettrick are well equipped to meet the unique needs of every child and are models for the best classroom practices in Chesterfield County, VA. My son is receiving a 5-star education, social-emotional learning, pre-engineering STEAM lessons, as well as Music, Art, PE, and Library resources. He enjoys spending recess on any of the 3 new spectacular playgrounds or fenced in blacktop! We love our Ettrick family and are so thankful for everything this school continues to provide my son!!

I liked it the first year very little. And this year. Don't like how they handle stuff. This school needs to be looked into. One parent took her son out. She said she never had as much trouble with him on school till he went here. And I feel the same way. I'm taken my child out.

I think Ettrick Elementary is a wonderful school. My son goes there and everyone involved in the education process is awesome! Kaleb never falls behind on anything and I am kept aware of all things related to his learning. The teaching staff in my opinion are truly great. The principal is always looking for new ways to make the learning experience fun yet practical. There is never a shortage of parents at all events. I absolutely love this school!

My daughter had attended Ettricke Elementary since pre-k. I have enjoyed our time there immensely. The school is like a family to us. Everyone knows myself and my daughter. Every event held at the school is jam packed with family members and there is a lot of community support. Absolutely love this school, the teachers, and the staff.

My kids went to Ettrick for a few years. We had continuous issues with bullying and even violence against our children and a couple other children on our bus route. We, and other parents, contacted the school numerous times about these issues, and nothing was resolved, and we were forced to switch schools. My children's teachers were wonderful though.
