My IEP sons suffered so much under this school during COVID. We movies to SC halfway through and they gained so much so fast, they would be hurting so bad by now if we had stayed. The overall "score" used to be a lot higher, but it's obvious "equity" is more important at thist point, as is evident by thelat "1" score for progress...

Horrible experience with the principal and vice principal with bullying. The vice principals kids bully everyone and multiple complaints have been made by multiple parents yet no change and no support from teaching staff. Where have all the good teachers gone?

Salnave is a wonderful school with an amazing staff. My children love it there!

3 of my children have gone through Salnave, and we’ve had great experiences there. The teachers, Admin, and staff all take time to treat students as individuals and focus on their specific needs and learning styles. I wouldn’t want my children to go anywhere else!

Salnave has taken extra care with my special needs student. I think you would be hard pressed to find this much attention given even in a private school. Very happy with the teachers that go out of their way to help my son!

I feel they need to maybe invest in more resource teacher and better programs so all the kids can be treated equally regardless of there special needs

I am so very sad and disappointed that my grandson has been out of school since September! He is only 6 years old. Even though he did well in preschool and self-contained / kindergarten transition last year, he was not ready for being in the completely " on your own" type classroom of first grade this year. Preventable problems arose, resulting in him being "expelled". Why should he suffer emotionally and socially because one person at the district level refuses to accommodate his minimal adjustment needs? In most ways,. Salnave is great, and we hope to have this resolved by Christmas. Thank you.

Our family had mixed results at this school. One of our children has done quite well there. They have had a good experience even if it seems they are under challenged at times. Our other child with special needs has not fared well at all. The school seemed to have an appearance of trying to help with special needs but when it came right down to it, many things didn't happen that were promised. There seems to be high turnover at this school which was concerning at times. Teacher quality is uneven. Some staff members are absolutely stellar. Others are lack-luster, to be kind. If your child is neither gifted or burdened with special needs they will probably do well here. If your child's needs fall outside the norm I suggest you look elsewhere.
