My child has attended LCAS for years and we have always loved the atmosphere fostered by the amazing facility and staff. However, This school experienced a major shift in 2022 when the new administration began their reign. Since then the school has slowly declined in the quality of education and there is no longer a spiritual atmosphere on campus. There is little to no communication with parents, and when you have concerns and bring them to the school leadership, you will be made to feel like a villain, and your concerns will be brushed under the rug. If you are looking for a “Christian” school that cares more about money and there public image than sharing the love of Christ then this is the school for you.

I pulled my child out of public online learning and made the decision to enroll him at LCAS. Best choice ever. My son went through some rough mental and physical issues and the school has been so supportive seeing him through. They are committed to helping families financially as well. I thought I could never afford a private school but you just have to try. You will be surprised at the options available. Definitely not all about the money. There is no better investment than our children.

LCAS is a second "home" for my children and has been for 8 years. The staff is caring, gifted, and helpful. The way this school has meet the challenges of the past year+ have been incredible! The entire 2020-2021 school year was navigated with professionalism, safety, and grace. They met in the classroom, (according to state COVID guidelines) the entire school year! Both of our children continue to excell in their academic achievements. The focus of mind, body, spirit that LCAS has is priceless. They promote physical, mental, and spiritual wellness each day. Being new to the area at the time, we chose this school after meeting with the principal of the Centralia elementary school, Centralia Christian school, and LCAS.

My child transferred into LCAS during CoVid, when the public school system was no longer meeting her educational needs. I looked into all of the Lewis County Christian schools and this one definitely surpassed the rest! My daughter was treated so well at this school! The teachers and staff are all such amazingly nice people. They have rules and they enforce them in a kind loving manner. The teaching style and education were top notch as well. Mrs. Cook and Mr. Morgan are both really good teachers. The principal, Mrs. Carlson is one of the best I’ve met ( I work in the public school system). I highly recommend this school to any and all who are considering it!

I think the negative reviewer on this site must be talking about a different school since I don't agree with anything the reviewer stated. My two sons attended this school and did amazing and were extremely well prepared to go to higher learning. Both did well academically in high school and college and both took and passed difficult courses in college. One became a doctor. We found the teachers to be well qualified and very good in helping the students to set high goals and encouraged them to persist in meeting those goals.

Curriculum is lacking until you hit 9-10 classroom. Way to expensive and encourages indoctrination. You get a discount if you get baptized into their church. The middle school teacher encouraged students to only eat 1000 calories a day and publicly weighed them. Almost half of the girls I went to that school with ended up with eating disorders or other mental health problems. If your child is LGBTQ, one of the lead pastors encourages electro-shock therapy to make them "normal." Very much a boy's club and women are discouraged from any form of self-expression, no make-up, no jewelry. Your kids will learn intolerance instead of academics. I know, I went there from K-10.

I used to attend this school and still visit with students who go there. They just rebuilt the school not too long ago and it's a beautiful building. They have excellent teachers and a challenging curriculum. The tuition can get a bit pricey though.
