My daughter is in 3rd grade now and has loved her teachers each year. She has never had any problems with any of the other kids. Entire staff down to the school nurse is attentive, dedicated and highly experienced. They are working on streamlining communication so we can get it all through one app, from district, school, and teachers. I am so pleased I sent my daughter here.

Our 9 year old autistic child has been attending this school for three and a half months. During this very short period of time our child has been suspended, called the police on her and called social service on us. All this without proper assessment of any of the incidents or communication from the school. The school administration or the teacher never made an attempt to meet with us to discuss the incidents or to obtain further details regarding our child’s behavior. They clearly do not have the proper training or protocols to deal with children in the Autism Spectrum. Thus far, the school teacher and administration have only used extreme measures to deal with behavioral incidents commonly observed in autistic children. Our child is a high functioning autistic person. But nevertheless autistic. Every incident should be assessed and treated with the outmost caution. I recommend that you stay away from this school if your child has behavioral issues.

Everyone is so mean there, they make me feel bad for myself. I do not recommend this school!

This is a great school, teachers and principal (Mrs Edgar) make it very special. I feel so lucky that my son had opportunity to attend from 4th to 6th grade.

My son has been attended this school from Kinder through 3rd now and my daughter from Kinder through 2nd. I have had mostly good experiences. Basha staff always strive to maintain open communication with parents. The only negative experience was my son's Kinder teacher who was unhappy with her profession and it showed. But she was not asked to return the following year. Any issues (whether it was my son getting hit by another student or my daughter's behavior) were resolved quickly, with parent involvement, and consideration for the student.
