PreK is horrible. All the teachers need child development classes!

My kids have had a great experience at St. Cornelius School. They definitely will be prepared for high school and beyond. New Principal is awesome. Looking forward to another great year. Highly recommend!

You must consider St. Cornelius for your child!! It is a small private school that focuses on the whole child. It’s a small, supportive, family based learning environment that has exceptional leadership. We have a very supportive Principal, Pastor, faculty, staff, Board and Parish that are working to make each day a true success. Please consider joining us!!!

Stating that “problem with peers occur in every school” is not a reason to excuse any form of social or emotional bullying. And even if it does occur in “all schools” are you ok with occurring in yours? We are not and that’s why we are leaving at the end of the year.

St Cornelius is an amazing school. It is sad to read the comments regarding bullying and comparing this school to “public school with religion”. Bullying or problems with peers happens with children everywhere in every school. Anytime my children had any problem socially at all, the teachers were receptive and kind. The school counselor is also fantastic. The academics are top notch as well. I have compared our curriculum with charter, public and private schools in the area. St Cornelius is also inclusive. I feel like my children are in a small, family like environment. I know tons of families here and they are all good people. I could not ask for a better place for my children to thrive.

St. Cornelius is great. Before i wrote this review, i made sure i read some of the reviews and i was pretty surprised at some of them. From the principal all the way down to the lunch workers, this school is fantastic and ive seen a tremendous improvement in my sons education. If there are any issues in school, they properly communicate it with the parents. St. Cornelius is a 10 out of 10 school!

When bullying is rampant and not addressed it’s difficult to have a school where children and teachers are held accountable. Not everyone is expected to follow the same rules. Minimal respect for one another does not exist. Many times we requested that our child’s bully just not interact with her or be separated. You would have thought we were asking them to paint the Sistine Chapel. Forget catholic values we just wanted respect.

The teachers here are amazing! My children are excited to go to school and don't want to go home. The small environment allows for opportunities that you can't get at a large Catholic or public school - member of band, participation in all extra-curricular activities, small group work in school, projects and activities with other grades allowing each student to be a mentor and be mentored!

Ineffective. Save your money for high school or college. Or send to a school that actually enforces rules, doesn’t participate In group punishment, and enforces personal responsibility.

There are not words to describe St. Cornelius because the teachers, parents and students are so unbelievably special, there is no way to describe them. I can’t imagine the success this school will reach after new leadership is implemented. The sense of community at this school (and parish) is so strong. As a parent, seeing your child happy to go to school is an amazing thing and I know for a FACT, my child isn’t one to be happy for just any school and I’m so happy St. Cornelius has been able to change that.

This school treats my son like family. All the administration and teachers (even in other grades) know him by name. I love that they teach them life-long values on top of exceptional learning!

Overall experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The teachers, students, faculty and parents are amazing. It is such a welcoming school that really focuses on the whole child.

We came expecting a school built on faith with a small enough footprint that we could expect a community like environment. What we found was a school run by fear of upsetting the principal. We might have overlooked this, but none of our children's academic needs were met and the teachers were not allowed to help us as they were directed by the principal. Gladly, there was no lasting damage as our children are thriving at another school.

Marginally better then public school. Somewhat disappointing

I would rate this elementary school as excellent. Though not for every child, this school embodies the ideals I desired of a Catholic/Christian education. They put strong emphasis on quality (neatness, accuracy) versus excess and they instill individual responsibility in children. I have children in this school and in public school as each child is different. The curriculum is rigorous and would compete well against all top districts in this area.

We have been here for 3 years and the teachers teach with love and compassion, rooted in our Catholic Faith. They have enrichment programs for children that are ahead and behind. It is a warm, loving environment, focused on service. I am happy to be able to send our children to such a wonderful school!

We love St Cornelius! This is our second year at the school and couldn't imagine my boys being any where else. With Smart Boards and I-Pads for the the younger children and notepads for the older children, they are constantly working to improve the quality of education. If religion and values are very important to your family then St Cornelius is the school for you.
