Red Hawk has been life changing for my son and myself. They meet every family where they are. SPED team is amazing. Teachers are some of the best I've ever met (shout out to Ms. Baptiste, Mrs. Risley, and Ms. O)

This is a terrible and dangerous place, although it has a good rating. It was a big mistake to send my child to this school. You just need to know that bullying is the norm here, and we have heard this many times from our teacher, she claimed that these are children, and it is normal that they hit and push each other, and she has to hear complaints from children many times a day, so she simply “forgets” to tell the parents that their children were beaten. The nurse also does not report that the child came to her after being pushed and hitting his head on another child's head, as well as when an aggressive student stepped on a child’s leg bone. The director listens to complaints with understanding and every time promises to separate the children and create distance between them. But the problem is not being solved, and nobody can control maintaining distance. The policy of this community is that every child is important, but nobody really cares, and nobody here will protect your children.Just know that your children will not be safe here, and management will sit back and listen to your complaints with sympathy. We removed our child from this school, and it was an unpleasant experience.Take care of your children.

I was concerned about my daughter having a learning disability and we were set up with an appointment by her Pediatrician to have her tested here.My daughter and I walk in and (red flag) there was no one to greet us, I mean anyone could have walked into this school and be down a hallway towards precious children! I go up to the front desk and say "hello?" A couple minutes later a snobby woman came out from around a corner and asked "can I help you?" I explained who my daughter and I were and why we were there. She looked at my daughter with a scowl and said "someone will be with you shortly". We waited for over an hour until someone else acknowledged us, people coming and going, and we were brought back into a gloomy room full of toys and a table in the middle. It did not look like a regular classroom. My usually bubbly, "I love everybody" chatterbox daughter was terrified and kept clinging to me. I kept trying to reassure her, but she wasn't having it. The three women who were assessing my daughter did not want me to interact with her whatsoever (actually told me to be quiet when my daughter asked me a question), even though she kept looking at me for reassurance (you could see the fear in her), and would clam up when they would interact with her, but what took the cake was when my daughter was talked down to because she called the stuffed animals "critters". I grabbed up my daughter (who by that time was in tears saying she did not want to go back), we left and will NEVER be back!

My son has been going to Red Hawk since just before Kindergarten, he is now in 2nd grade. I love this school, the teachers and everyone involved.

while the preschool side is very good the elementary part is horrible. It was so bad that we had to sell our house and move

Amazing teachers and staff they make it so when you move you don't want to because you have to switch your kids school

Our daughter has attended for 2 years, she loves it. She has had two great teachers and loves the school all around. Her test scores are great and get better every time.

I have had two children attend RHR. I love the staff and they love the parents. The principal, Mike Wardeman is simply amazing. He knows our family and even asks about my son who moved on to middle school years ago. My daughters teacher is amazing. He has worked with her for the last two years. I have volunteered in the classroom and field trips, and the parent involvement is awesome.

In my experience here at Red Hawk Ridge, was not what I expected. The School seems to be very unorganized when it come to children that need extra help with learning. My child felt unwelcome. It was a waste of three years of my child's education.

So far my experience at Red Hawk Ridge has been great. The Principal, Mike Wardeman, the teachers and the ILC program are the best I've seen. The school and staff are committed to excellence and I feel very comfortable with my special needs son being there.

First of all the class ratio is incorrect. There are about 25 kids per class. We have had several bad experiences in our second year at the school. The bullying and disrespect students show each other is atrocious. The faculty seems to address it but as a parent, I feel as though I've made to much of a fuss and now I'm being ignored. Our child is not a special needs case however the teacher refuses to work with us to make our child's experience a pleasant one. We feel as though our child is now being singled out by the teacher and that we have no recourse and can only hope that our child will not be forever scarred by this faculty member. I have been told other cherry creek schools are better but this is by far a stain on their reputation. We could not be more disappointed in how the school has handled our situation and we have talked to other parents at other elementary schools and they are horrified.

My little second grader loves RHR. His teachers are very attentive and caring. My son can not wait to get to school every day. Thank you to Ms. Snyder and all the teachers and staff at Red Hawk Ridge.

My daughters have attended Red Hawk Ridge for 2 years now. While I am still getting use to the track school, I have to say I love it here. The staff is extremely kind and enthusiastic. Front office ladies are nice (extremely important) and my kids teachers are phenomenal. If you have any concerns they are right there responding promptly and take an interest in the kids. I am so pleased with the education they are getting and the small class sizes. I think this is a great school!

Every person in the school really couldn't care less about anything except their pay check at the end of the day. Avoid this school at all costs.

The faculty truly care about all the students and have implemented some wonderful new programs to keep school fun and exciting! They have great facilities and great educators. I love that the student body is so culturally diverse and that it is celebrated! I'm in the school and the classrooms all the time, and the kids are always happy!

This school is pretty much a waste of your kids time, I wasn't sure about the reviews I saw comparing thier kindergarten program to most preschools until I saw it with my own eyes. The teacher had my son working on subject matter that my son learned in preschool. No control over the class and tons of busy work. They live up to the low standard of public education in colorado.

Great school with super nice teachers and quality education. This school was the first school my daughters attended here in the U.S after moving from another country and they were given all the possible attention/help to help integrate with the U.S education system. My kids studied for two years here before we had to relocate to another state. I would highly recommend this school.

I have a Gifted and Advanced daughter that needed special programs than can fit her needs. RHR has been an incredible experience since she started 1st grade. She love going to school everyday and has not only a busy agenda with her Advanced Classes but also with all the other Clubs options that are offer for all students. The teachers really know how to handle G&A kids, they are all very friendly and I can comunicate with them by email or phone at anytime. The Before/After Care program also rocks. This is a School that really make you feel part of the comunity!
