All aspects of this school are fantastic. Coolidge School is one of the best reasons to live in the Cedar Hills/Stoney Point neighborhood. The students come from diverse backgrounds, but are respectful and hard working. The teachers, staff and principal are AMAZING. We would never consider enrolling our kids elsewhere.

Excellent school. Great teachers, principal and staff. The school has a lot of fun activities for the kids. My two favorite things about this school: 1) They have zero tolerance for bullying. And I mean ZERO. If there is a report of bullying it is handled immediately. And the kids are taught how to work through interpersonal issues. This makes for a great atmosphere in which everyone supports each other. This approach is consistent from the top down. 2) The kids LOVE this place. I hear a lot of, "This is the best school ever." "I can't wait to go back to school." "I love Coolidge." I just feel like this is a school that is creating great memories for our kids, along with great instruction.

There is no better school in Cedar Rapids. The parent and PTA involvement is tremendous and providing the most up to date resources is a priority. The staff cares and wants the best education for each child. The leadership calls each child by name and is visible at all times to students and parents. If you want the best start for your child's elementary education choose Coolidge Elementary.
