I was an employee a few years ago and according to staff I’m still friends with, nothing has changed:Students spend all day on screens with very little pencil-and-paper work (including students with special needs). We can talk about technological prowess all day long but fact of the matter is that these students are not actually learning how to use computers effectively AND they are rarely able to reproduce results on paper (not to mention the incredible eye strain). Students are rewarded for doing the absolute bare minimum while behaving poorly in class. After school you can often find groups of 4/5th grade boys chucking GLASS BOTTLES at traffic.

Terrible! Enforcing the dress code is more important than education. My daughter was blamed for sexually inciting and distracting boys because her shorts were two inches above her knees instead of one. This is sexist. My other daughter was singled out for developing breasts early. She was constantly discriminated against for wearing normal shirts because the shirts were "tight" on her chest and because she had cleavage which apparently goes against the dress code. My children didn't learn much at all. The work brought home was far below grade level. Luckily my children enjoy learning and taught themselves what the school did not at home. Teachers bully students and play favorites. Many teachers only favor minorities or children with behavioral problems. Well behaved children that always get good grades are ignored. The school is filthy. My kids got sick constantly and were then harassed for absences due to the viruses they caught at school.

My child goes to Lewis School. This is a total outrage that the school puts on a Christmas program and doesn't include all children that go there. I feel there should be parts made for all the children not just their maturity level. This school is so discriminating. The holidays is made for all and shouldn't exclude anyone!!!

My son just completed 5th grade at this school and he had a great experience! We were so worried about him because he joined it from a smaller school. Thought he might struggle or get overwhelmed. The teachers were so great and helped him during his transition. He made friends very easily and blended in within a couple days. They have great opportunities and their Academically Talented program is very good. Overall we were very pleased and my son had great experience.
