I am a mother that never wanted to work to pay someone else to take care of my children. When I had my first child, I was fortunate enough to be a stay at home mother & wife. When my son was 11 mths old, he wanted to go to school as he was & still is very social. My husband & I were very nervous to trust our baby to a stranger & visited many daycares. When we visited Sonrise Academy, we knew right away this was it! HOME AWAY FROM HOME! It truly is as their is so much love, support, teaching, communication, my list of good things goes on forever. ALL teachers & Rev Paul TRUELY care. When we were planning our second child, my husband said to me,"Don't you want to wait until you can stay at home again?" I didn't hesitate to say no as I knew who would be taking care of our daughter. The same wonderful, loving Ms. Debbie & 2 Ms. Jodie's that loved my son and I knew now my daughter would be in the best of care.At the time of her birth, again, I was fortunate to stay at home with her until she cried because she wanted to go to Sonrise too.She started at age 1 & has been there full time for 1 1/2 yrs.Now my son is going to kindergarten.I would keep him there if I could!! Thank you Sonrise!

This is the most awesome school ever. Mrs. K and Mrs B. Are so wonderful. They have a class full of children yet pay each and everyone of them individual attention. I am so sad that she is drawing an end to her time there, I will truly miss it, and I know she will to. They do awesome things there, one being wacky Wednesday with water based play during the summer. Original and creative artwork, of course your basic learning (and beyond) Story time, Circle time. (Etc) The provide meals and snacks, unless you bring your own, which they are totally ok with. They vary the meals, and some weeks will do themed lunches. Paul, the owner, is amazing. You can really see the love in his eyes, he is so sweet. This is what he was meant to do and you can tell he enjoys each busy moment. I can't say enough about Sonrise Academy.. I was so scared to even put into daycare a year ago, and now I couldn't be happier with my choice. Only thing now is to find a school just as good!
