The administration refuses to allow me to have information on my child despite a court order. My son was held back in first grade last school year yet when he transferred to Cape Academy they bumped him to second grade despite an ability to read or write. The child missed over 46 days of school in first grade due to the mother's truancy. The school will not let me know his academic record, attendance record, or to schedule a parent- teacher conference. This place is a cattle call to simply collect Mckay Scholarship checks.

My son started attending Cape Academy last year after falling far behind in public school and getting very depressed about it. Ms. Kris, the director, is amazing and passionate about these students' learning. We have been very pleased with the care and concern for our son as he made the adjustment to a new school and any time issues arise. He is learning at his pace and no longer "feels stupid." If you have a child with learning challenges and is getting lost in the cookie cutter approach of public school, check it out.

This school and the teachers are absolutely wonderful. My son started here in 8th grade and is now graduating, and he is extremely sad that he will not be able to go to school after June. They find how the student learns and conforms the teaching to each child's learning style. There is one on one teaching and attention. My son has a disability, Aspergers, and before he was very socially stunted, he has come out of his shell. My son is practically a straight A student, loves to read, and even stays after school to help clean up the school. He has really blossomed into a great young man, and I believe I can owe it a lot to the time and attention from the teachers at this school. They love the students as if they were their own. Each year, they have added more and more activities to keep the kids interested and excited to come to school, like field trips to Broadway Palm Dinner Theater, Highschool Prom, Bowling, movies, and let's not forget end of year party which cannot be missed. If you are lucky enough to have you child attend this school, your child will be in great hands.

This school is wonderful. My son is currently enrolled and loves this school. His confidence is up and now loves to read. The teachers are amazing and spend alots of individual time with him. I will NEVER send him back to the public schools again.

My 15 year old grandson is currently attending Cape Academy for the first time this year. This school is amazing to say the least! My grandson who was getting failing grades while in public school is now getting B's. Excellent teachers who really care!!
