Great school. So far and for the past 3 years the level of communication during this time has been exceptional.The teachers I have dealt with have consistently been responsive, going above and beyond to ensure that my children's needs are met. Their commitment to effective communication has truly enhanced the educational experience.The staff members have been incredibly informative and helpful, providing valuable insights and addressing any concerns promptly. The principal's dedication to staying closely connected is great to see.I am also highly appreciative of the school's commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment the students.It's clear that they prioritize the well-being and development of the students.

We started here in 05 and it was great at first. Kid #2 eventually started and despite being a bit behind developmentally his teacher got him caught up in a matter of weeks. As the years went on it became apparent he had a learning issue, which we had dx'd and was found to be Autism. But before his dx we were rushed and pushed through a 504 plan w/ the school before state testing began. Literally took a week or 2. His dx came in and then he was basically just abandoned in his 4th and 5th grade classes. Bullied a lot as well, but nothing ever done as the teacher never saw anything supposedly. My other children had amazing teachers except when #1 went to 3rd grade. Her teacher called the kids names in Spanish and mocked them, etc. She unfairly graded the kids and at some point a parent managed to get something done and she was fired. Caruso refused to do anything about this teacher at anytime prior. In the end we had some great teachers and some real scumbag one's. When my kids needed more than Diplomat could give we switched to a school with full time gifted. Just in time too, as a scumbag teacher took over the part time gifted class and it would have never went well for my 4th child in it. Now the school has dropped in their test scores, the principal changed before we left and was mediocre. She seemed like she was biding her time til retirement. Office staff changed too and the 2 that were super nice were gone, replaced with snarky one's.

I find some members of this school to be incompetent and unfortunately for them think everyone else is incompetent also, the excuses they make when there is an issue and if you expect people that work in a field to actually know the laws governing that field think again, retraining is needed. Almost at the end of the school year they send out surveys and they are very very bias, how can a survey be true iffff It's all positive? Where are the check box for the negative experience??

Amazing school! The administration is actively involved, the teachers extremely qualified and caring, and the students are successful year after year!

I agree with the previous review that the administration is disorganized, unfriendly, unprofessional and rude. The Principal and the office staff are especially RUDE. The children are pressed for time to eat lunch and don't have adequate seating in the cafeteria. Parents are not welcome to eat with their children. There aren't after school activities or clubs for the students to join. Diplomat is going downhill.

The administration is disorganized, unfriendly, unprofessional and rude. I had high hopes for the new Principal, AP, and secretary only to be disappointed. The school is overpopulated. The children are pressed for time to eat lunch and don't have adequate seating in the cafeteria. There aren't after school activities or clubs for the students to join. Diplomat still has a long way to go.

My daughter started Kindergarten here last year 2013-2014 and I love this school. I volunteered a few days and met some great parents, and she made great friends! We are looking forward to 1st grade this year!

I cant stand this school. My daughter has been bullied for 2 years by the same child and NOTHING has been done to stop it. she doesnt like going to school and they do nothing to work with you when any situation arises. My daughter had chicken pox last year and wasnt cleared back to school for 3 weeks, she had pneumonia this year and was out for 2 weeks and even tho i had drs notes i got grief because she was missing school. ok ill bring my sick infected child in so she can spread her sickly love around NO PROBLEM

This school has left me and several other parents disappointed in this years graduation progam and field trips. My daughter has been there since kindergarden and her only field trip was in the 5th grade "Chucky Cheese "when all other neighboring schools went to Bush Garden, Disney, ect. Their recent graduation or as they call it "Move Up" program was the worst. There was no acknowledgments made for the teachers or the kids and awards were not given out that day. It left the parents and kids with the feeling of bewilderment wondering why Dipolmat Elementary could not do something more special for their kids. Again, neighboring schools made this day special for their students. Overall, the school is good but these events make memories that last a life time and are just as important to students. I hope for the future the school will put more effort into their events and it doesn't have to be a hugh expense. I have another daughter starting in the fall and hope to see these changes.

This is a GREAT School for kids! The principal is a tremendous motivator for the students and discipline is taken seriously. Both my daughter and son have attended all grades at Diplomat. All the teachers are excited about teaching and both my kids love the celebrations when learning goals are met. My kids have read more books than I have in my life time...and I have an MS degree.

My daughter loves this school and her teacher. Again as in most schools, the teachers are great and the administration is average. Still overall it is a good school.
