I would not recommend this school to anyone. After a bevy of controversy involving multiple staff members, the diocese appears to be more focused on preserving the school's Catholic image and less on academic rigor. I withdrew all of my children from this facility after I came to learn that coercive control was employed as a method of behavior management and classroom management. I found this to be extremely counter productive to my goals of offering my children the best education. The school lacks supports normally seen in other schools with "fill in" counselors and absolutely zero wiggle room for children requiring a little extra focus. As far as learning goes, my children did poorly from an academic standpoint when they transitioned to the "real world" from this microcosm, and I came to learn that the school was teaching at nearly a grade level below state standards. Not good.Teacher engagement is difficult at best, with limited social emotional support offered by any staff member. From a safety standpoint, you need only request a Florida Sunshine Law Release from the Lee County Sheriff's Department.Family engagement is minimal, outside of fundraising. Maybe the place was good back in the day, but as of 2024, not so much in my personal opinion. Seeing the relief on my children's faces when they left and their testimony as to how much nicer the teachers and students are at their new school was enough for me.

This school has been a waste of my money. After 8 years of my kid going here, hoping that my child will have the best learning experience, my child has been treated horribly, not just by the students, but also by the staff members. I hope everyone else in this school has had a better experience than my child. My child has gotten multiple death threats by 3 different students.

The school is supported outstanding teachers. They are what's providing the school with the fundamentals of education and religious values. Unfortunately, the upper administrative people put in position to provide rules guidelines and finances, may possibly be the demise of the school. 34 children (7-8-year-olds) in one classroom for the last two years is not an ideal environment for these young children. Are concerned parents are hoping for change.

I am in my 10th and final year as a parent at St Andrew. I couldnt be more pleased with the experience. My children are very prepared for High School and spiritually whole. The love and dedication they show towards my children is incredible. I will miss being apart of this community and school.
