It was decent up until last year. I feel it has been nit picking. The rules only apply when they want them too. But your suppose to accept how the they hand out discipline. last year my son was asked to sign something stating he understood what his punishment for, when do we allow children under the age of 18 to sign for ANYTHING without a adult?? I told my child to NEVER sign anything with out me being there, jif this means they have to wait then so be it but his signature is to never be on anything with out me being present. Even talk with the superintendent she couldn't tell me where in their rules it said students under 18 are allowed to sign, I knew she wouldn't find it cause your not allowed to do it BY LAW!!.. be careful sending your children here and if you do please keep a watchful eye.

This school is in one of the worst neighborhoods in Canton. They hire below average teachers that couldn't get positions elsewhere. When they're lucky enough to get quality educators, they're recruited and leave to a more less intimidating area of town. Mrs Springer is very judgemental towards the special needs children, and won't hesitate to humiliate the student and child in the presence of others. I dont like this school at all.

The administrator need to remember that they set the highest example so if they can't follow simple life rules like personal space and respect how are they going to teach the children those things. The teachers are judgmental and uncooperative . I have had children here for three years and next year they will not be attending Allen. Oh and if the front door is open how should I know i'm not allowed in my children's school. In fact the only good thing I have to say is I like my daughters new teacher. I just don't appreciate how they approach situations

Allen elementary is a terrible school. lunch teachers yell and treat the children badly for no reason. They don't recognize enough of the children who have great behavior. In my childrens classes they hardly ever got to do anything fun and stimulating because most of the children would behave badly and the whole class would not get the privilage of doing fun stimulating activities. and there was not any parent involvement at the school. They had a great principal and replaced him with another principal who could not keep the children under control or happy. Students were much more happier and a little better behaved with previous principal, also the previous principal was very involved with the students daily, the replacement principal was hardly ever involved with students.
