As an 8th grader at teasley middle school, I DO NOT recommend enrolling your child here. There is a violent gang of kids known as the "country kids". They harass students and even jump students. The country kids meet up in packs of 5 or 6, and go into the Boy's bathroom and then they kick stalls in, pee on the floors, destroy soap dispensers, dent the mirrors, break sink handles, bully other students, and blame everything on the other students. As one of their targets going on three years, the country kids are hateful people. They called me Trans because of my hair, and have bullied me almost non-stop for two years. They've bullied a lot of my friends too. I'm enraged that nothing has been done about the country kids. Teasley would be a much safer place without them.

For advanced and accelerated work they do alright. Would like to see them have an accelerated science program that pushes through physical science and biology to get those off the table for the kids that can digest the workload so they can take get into more advanced science programs their senior year. Would also like to see electives like basic typing or computer science introductory courses in programming. Not sure Social Studies Enrichment electives are really necessary when you can be teaching kids life skills like typing that can accelerate the delivery of schoolwork and test work.

I would rate it as somewhere between poor to fair. Improvement is needed.

It seems the curriculum and many of the other things teachers are required to do at Teasley are just for show. The curriculum seems very impersonal and lacking in substance. There is something that isn't right with this school and it probably starts with leadership. Our oldest child loved the teachers and the family atmosphere at the old school, but the youngest isn't happy at the new one. We are considering moving her to the charter school.

Great school with really nice kids. Brand new facility in 2014 that is an excellent environment to send your middle schooler to!

This school is great. Everyone learns the standards and gets out because that's what a school is for. The only problem I can find with the school based on other reviews is that the Language Arts program needs to step up their game. Other than that it's up to the students to make their time at Tealsey a good experience.

I am a student at Teasley. 8th grader. I absoulutly hate the school. I was jumped and the girl only got 3 days of oss. Now she gets to brag about what she did , she even hit me in the head as a joke and the Principles take it as a joke , and act like this is a game , well its not i was hurt by this , affected in many ways. My parents missed so much work checking me out and staying at the school so that i felt safe. i thought that was the schools job. To keep me safe? Yeah. Well im scared everyday i walk into that school. There is another girl who threatened me and was telling me she was gonna jump me. On SCHOOL EMAIL!! I am scared to walk down the hallway , that i might get jumped , there is definitely not enough teachers watching these kids and Ms Amy Graham , was very rude to my mother , making smart comments , It made me made , she even thought about trying to give me Iss for quickening my fist at the girl who jumped me , she treats her victims like attackers when , no there the victims. All in all this school IS NOT a school i would recommend to anyone.

When our first child went here it was a great school with great teachers. Four years have passed and our youngest is at the new TMS and she doesn't like it. The teachers seem browbeat and sad, even the ones we knew before from either the old TMS or those who moved up from Knox Elementary this year. We have heard that morale is down and transfers are routinely blocked. It seems to be a den of misery.

Amazing school. Staff is impeccable. Parents in community connect with teachers to do the best for the students.

Their are truly no words to discribe my true appreciation for the time Mr. L'Esperance and Mr. Lewis took with me to discuss my concern of removing my daughter from a very reputable private school to possibly Teasley Middle School for next year as a 7th grader. I was truly impressed with the fact that this school would actually work with a parent and new student that has already had advanced currc. willing to be very accommadating as long as they saw what she was already doing. I cannot thank you both enough!! Bless you and your staff for taking the time to truly explain things to me!

I couldn't be happier with my son's 7th grade experience at this school. The staff and administration went out of their way to make sure he had great instruction as well as a fun supportive environment. He is well prepared for 8th grade because of the effort and care the staff put into their classrooms. There are many opportunities for parents to volunteer and take part in supporting their child's education which is extremely important to a child's progression and a schools success. We are looking forward to next year.

My daughter attended Teasley Middle School this past year as a 7th grader and she had a wonderful experience. We were extremely pleased with everything....the outstanding teachers, the caring administrators and the positive learning environment. There are also numerous opportunities for parents to participate and be involved in events throughout the year. Success in your child's academic career stems from active parental involvement and teaming together with the school to ensure that your child receives a successful environment in which to thrive. Teasley educators and administration are eager to provide this opportunity to all of their families. Looking forward to another wonderful year as we approach the last year in the present facility. Go Raiders!!

I cannot say enough great things about Teasley Middle School. My daughter has been in three different schools and this is, by far, her best experience. The Administration cares about our kids..they matter! Teasley teachers are fabulous and have made learning fun. The support staff even take the time to get to know our kids. Teasley is always doing fun things to keep them excited about coming to school.

This school is a parent's nightmare! My child hates it here and the teachers present a non-caring attitued toward the class. My child never gets told, "Way to go.", "Great job". The teachers sit at their desk on their computer, while the assistant teacher attempts to teach. If I didn't love where we live, we would be out of here!! i don't recommend this school to anyone.
