Mercy High School really supports the young women who attend the school and encourages them to be involved in their community as leaders.

Mercy B opened their doors and hearts to our daughter and made our family feel very welcome. Our daughter was a transfer student. Leaving your friends and starting over when students have established peer groups is scary for even the most confident teen. Mercy made sure she was transitioning well and there were plenty of school sponsored social activities, clubs and sports to help her make friends. The academic rigor was much harder than her former public school, but she had much better access to teachers for help or questions. The iPads are great. I am in awe at the effective use of technology and she loved not lugging around 20 lbs of books every day. Mercy B holds a special place in our hearts. Thank you Mercy B for an outstanding program!

This school is outstanding. The girls are kind and genuinely care about their 'sisters'. The staff is highly trained and they take their jobs very seriously. The workload is high and we have seen significant leaps in academic output and performance from our child. She has an excellent attitude towards school because of the positivism on campus. They socialize with other Catholic schools in the area so there is no shortage of opportunities for the girls to get together and find healthy outlets. Drug use is minimal and frowned upon by the majority: the mentality is 'college' and it permeates the culture of the campus. The only slight negative is the parent communication could be a little better, but overall this school exceeded our expectations! The college readiness and counseling program warrants an additional star. These young women are given the tools and the professional support necessary to achieve their fullest potential.

To be honest, I had higher standards for this school. I was always told that it was a great school, my older cousin would tell me about her experience. I could barely wait To start high school. At first I didn't quite meet the most.. Nicest classmates there, though there's always a few people like that in every school. I just avoided them and kept going. But there was this one girl that kept messing with me and what really disappointed me was that she would mess with me right in front of the teachers, I'd say something, but they did nothing to help whatsoever. They thought I was a joke. Another thing is that I agree with the other students. I think the school focus too much in their image rather than actually helping their students. If you're not doing too good in school, they just kick you out and don't bother to help. Teachers will talk to you, but all they talk about is how they never failed a student before. Mentioning that doesn't give any help to the student except guilt. Guilt won't help everyone. Just so disappointed in this school. I thought it would be better.

We have two daughters currently attending Mercy. We have been very happy with the overall experience. The education that they are receiving has exceeded our expectations.
