Our two children had an outstanding experience at SFA. They were challenged immensely academically, and enjoyed the experience of a variety of extra-curricular activities, both in athletics and fine arts. The teaching staff is passionate, and offered opportunities to gain tutoring outside of the classroom. We did not have any negative experiences on this campus, and are excited for our third child to attend as a 7th grader in 2022-2023.

I had high hopes this year but this was a horrible year. We moved here from a 1A school and we were excited about new possibilities but it has just been a nightmare. I am a parent that backs the teacher completely until proved I shouldn't. That being said, I would not recommend this school to anyone. I have had little parent/teacher communication. I was told my student was a "rock star" in class (when worried that he may be behind) but right before STAAR I get told he is falling behind. The one and only time I had to contact the principal he did not even give me a call back - he just passed it on to someone else to handle. I have worked in the school system and a secretary to a principal and a superintendent and I thought this was extremely unprofessional. If you have a choice, avoid this school.
