St. Joseph Catholic School is a Faith based private school that promotes both the excellence in education and creates a spiritual formation in all its students. The principal cares deeply for this school and it shows. Staff and the support folks are helpful and willing to work with parents. Classes are reasonable in size. The school works hard to ensure that your student is in the correct level for each subject (don't have to take all honors if an honor student -- placed where they learn the best). Campus is not attractive, but don't let that influence your opinion of this school. The quality is found in the teachers and the education the kids get inside the building. Many academic, artistic and sporting activities for children before and after school. Very caring atmosphere.

Provides a great Christian environment for grades PK - 12. Promotes both excellence in education and a spiritual faith formation. Great school with wonderful Teachers and great Administrators who create a safe and healthy environment to challenge students to work to the best of their abilities and to live as Christian examples of faith to one another and the extended community. I have two children going to St. Joseph Catholic school since 2007, one in 6th and my youngest in 1st. grade. Overall, I think St. Joseph Catholic School is the best private school in Bryan! Thanks, Proud Parent.

This is our first year at St. Joseph. I have been very happy with the school. The curriculum is challenging. They cover so much more than the public school did. There are things my third grader is learning that my older child didn't learn until fifth grade. My third grader had to write everything in cursive after the Christmas break. My third grader and my sixth grader both learned how to write in cursive at the same time, because it was not required in public school (they learned how to write the letters, but it was never required for class work). No, it's not perfect. But I am happy everyday that they attend this school. The kids are all friends and my kids love this school. It's like a big family. The religion part of it is awesome. That alone is worth a lot. They do have a lot of homework, compared to public school. I could not imagine sending my children anywhere else.

My son has attended K and 1st grade. It is a positive, loving safe environment. We had 2 wonderful teachers. They were great!
