My child had a wonderful experience at Bowen Elementary. We moved to Bryan ISD from another high performing school district in Texas. My child thrived academically at Bowen elementary, excelling beyond our expectations, and became much more engaged in learning and personal academic achievement. The faculty and staff cares about their students, and creates a warm and welcoming environment for the elementary school. I highly recommend Bowen Elementary!

Although my review has been reported several times coincidentally (on multiple platforms), I want to make parents aware that the administration (in our situation) allowed a child, in a program that the school profits off of, to bully my daughter with no consequences. We have been met with a lot of “brushing under the rug” when it came to speaking out about our situation. Beware.

My granddaughter is a 4th grader and has had very good teachers since kindergarten. She was struggling at first but has been given so much extra help in math and reading that she is almost on grade level. She loves to go to school because all the teachers are so loving and accepting. We will miss Bowen next year when she moves to 5th grade.

I’m very pleased with my daughters first year of school. Mrs. Smith has been very active in her learning and development. I’m so glad she was able to be a part of her class this year, and hope next year goes the same.

Incompetence at administrative level, both principal and assistant principal more concerned about protecting the image of the school than the student. 2 of the 3 teachers have no business being in a classroom. One bullied my kid for the most part of the year, and the other is inappropriately dressed and has a smart mouth with the children.

If your child struggles, they get left in the woods. You have to fight tooth and nail for just simple resources like leveled readers. Worst school ever for struggling students
