This school has no school moral (ie talent shows, spelling bee, after school activities) to make learning fun

this is true and i was denied several times when i tried to put my son in school in kindergarden and 1st grade because he has a ep i had to put hm some place until i made contacts with ppl in the board of ed and was told that the school cannot deny my son due to his learning status. i returned back this year they tried to turn me away nicely this time i made it very clear ive been here 2 years prior and they turned me away but this time i am extremely knowledgeble about the law and how it relates to the board of ed and they can turn me away if they do i will do what i have to do.

This school is not great. It is only great when your child does not need additional assistance. If you need your child to be evaluated for learning disabilities you have to practically beg. The do what benefits the school not the children!!

this school is a great school my cousin Jamal goes here and he loves it. he does very good in this school and his teachers love him. i would recommend your child to come here. Jamal is in the second grade and is going on to third grade which he has to take the nyc test. I go to school at ps245 and that is also an excellent school too. i graduated today and in September i will be attending college prep on Erasmus campus.

Ar P.S. 399, the day always begins by gathering together as a family and acknowledging the special moments in our lives. All academic and extracurricular activities are centered around motivating the whole child. At P.S. 399, we practice everyday, "it takes a whole village." philosophy. That is why our students keep coming back to visit and we have as many former students in the after school performing arts program, as there are current students. Every parent, teacher, staff member, and student - present and former, knows that we are "the best school around."

Wonderful school. While academics are at the forefront, the arts are still included. The enviroment is that of a family working together for the benefit of each child. The whole community is involved in the enrichment of this school.
