Extremely disappointed in the lack of knowledge and experience from staff in registration department. I reached out starting February 2022 to enroll my son in school. No one called me back or made an attempt to have my son join the waiting list. I attended this school many many years ago. I am beyond disappointed. Do yourself a favor if the school staff and officials do not find it important to communicate with the parents during enrollment process. It is very clear your child will not be receiving the attention nor education they deserve to move them forward and prepare them for the future.

The school is a magnet school now and it is working toward developing its theme: STEAM in all aspects of learning at PS 123K. It is a family oriented school where the atmosphere is filled with positivity and love. There are many programs offered at the school that support all learners and all families. Our new upgrades provide newer technologies, music, robotics programs, and hydroponics lab to support the STEAM theme.

This school is absolutely amazing. The students are well behaved and the staff is great at what they do. You can't come into this school without seeing the students smiling from ear to ear, but the same goes for the staff as well. It's really a family type environment in there and as great as it is, it still is only getting better. This year the enrichment program has been implemented (2017-2018) and although its new to the staff, you can see how beneficial it is. It gives the teachers more of an opportunity to make sure that each individual student is attended too. Great school, and couldn't be happier!

I have been teaching at this school for eight years and I have seen tremendous growth in both the quality of instruction and the commitment of the entire staff to make this a first-class institution. Programs added to the regular curriculum include Ballroom Dance, Gardening, Art Studio in a School, African Drumming and Dance, Shakespeare, Environmental Theater and many more. In addition, the involvement of a community of parents has made instruction more effective. Cheers to PS 123.

I am a Formal Ps 123 student when I attended this school it was great, But how disappointed I am of this school now. I have my 2 sons attending this school and it s so sad how my son comes home and tells me one of his teachers told the students "STOP ACTING LIKE STUPID PEOPLE" my son was in shock to hear that kind of language coming out of a teacher s mouth. All they do is yell at those children all day long and as for teaching smh horrible even during lunch they are yelled at and punished for running during their free time in the school yard. Next September I am moving just so my children won t attend this horrible school. I would never recommend this school to any parent.
