    This school has been around for many years. We're a family, not only spiritually, but literally. Though we are of different blood, this school is an example of the bonds that we create with others and how connected we are. Closing this school is the worst choice ever made by the ADNY. Our school's overall average on the performance of state tests are near the top, and yet they chose to close us. I really and truly believe that St. Mary School is the best of the best of the best of the schools you can ever find anywhere. Not even the schools that are "better" can beat the great teachers and students we have here at St. Mary School. And I really feel sorry for the kids here who can not experience the joy of being here for all the way up to 8th grade just because the school is closing. I really do. But I hope God will not forget the work that everyone has done here at St. Mary's. I am saying this as a member of the last graduating class of St. Mary School.

    This school even though we seem like we have little we are treated like family no matter what. Truly one of he best schools ever. PLEASE DONT CLOSE :(

    My son started here this year and so far we love this school, the teachers and the staff. It's small enough that he won't get lost in the mix. What I love most of all is the fact that they have small classes. There are only 19 kids in my sons class, compared to the public school he was at last year with 30+ kids in each class. Now I am confident that my son will get a good education.
